[ANN] NewMiner

@newsense2004 seems like this asset is growing, you might want to step up and make your OP look a bit nicer to attract more investors :)
-
@HiDevin Please email me at newminer.asset@gmail.com with suggestions. I think it looks ok.

I am thinking about starting a crowdfund to build a GPU miner for the asset. I want to keep the current funds in the account to continue building up the Burst miner. Plotting the drives is the current bottleneck in the advancement of this asset. The GPU miner would instantly generate extra revenue as we continue to plot more drives and expand the Burst miner. I know this goes against what I said in the ANN so I want to hear what investors think as I said all asset sale funds would go towards drives. If you look at the books you can see the earnings increase each week but it's a little slow plotting these SMR drives. The plan is to sell just enough assets to build the GPU miner through the crowdfund. The progression of the Burst miner will not be interrupted. I would like to hear from investors on this.
Thanks, Newsense

@newsense2004 go into GPU mining, I approve of this, but ask focus also since he's a big investor
-
What about improving your plotting speed instead?
-
@flyinggiraffe 8TB non-smr are expensive and if I had one just for plotting I couldn't mine it. I thought about it but just not sure it's worth it.
-
@newsense2004 i am wondering the cost/ benefit between dedicated drive for faster plotting or a gpu miner, this also depends how fast your shares are going to sell as to whether you will need that much more speed or not. There was a good thread on plotting smr drives here https://forums.burst-team.us/topic/5307/how-to-attain-max-nonce-min-plotting-direct-to-smr-drives
-
@flyinggiraffe @Haitch gave me some tips on plotting SMR drives. I am taking his advise on the next drive and will see the results.
-
This weeks payout is not what it should be. We lost mining hours due to the pool being on a fork. The fourth 8TB drive is almost done plotting and should help bring next weeks payout up.
Dividends Paid.

Update.
The fourth 8TB drive is finished plotting and currently mining. Bringing the total mining power to 33TB. The fifth 8TB drive is currently being plotted. I have also started a crowdfund to fund a GPU miner for the asset. https://forums.burst-team.us/topic/5399/newminer-gpu-miner!Thanks, Newsense.

UPDATE
I started a crowdfund to raise funds towards adding GPU mining to the asset. There are still funds left from asset sales but I want to make sure the Burst miner continues to grow as promised. Our goal is roughly 80,000 Burst or roughly $800 USD and not to exceed 150,000 Burst or roughly $1,500 USD. Crowetic is holding 15,000 NewMiner shares and will hold any funds sent to the crowdfund in escrow. He may be able to help out with some GPU's as well if we are successful. The asset is still doing well and we still have money to expand the Burst miner but want to add an extra stream of revenue. For each ten Burst sent you will receive 1 NewMiner share. If the crowdfund is successful you will earn dividends from both the GPU miner and always growing Burst miner as long as you own shares. Unfortunately shares will not be sent until the crowdfund is successful as it's the easiest way to refund people in the case it fails. The Burst and assets will be held in escrow by Crowetic as mentioned before. Here is the link.
If you would like to see GPU mining added please buy shares through the crowdfund linked above.
Thanks, Newsense.

Mining is going well. Won 3 blocks yesterday.15 blocks total since April 21.

A while ago 50,000 NewMiner shares were sold to @Focus and someone here traced the funds and came to the conclusion that @nameless sent the 500,000 Burst to @Focus right before @Focus bought 50,000 NewMiner shares. Myself and investors were all stumped given the history between me and @Focus. I finally have an answer from @nameless himself. It was a bet on my assets future between @Focus and @Nameless. @nameless bet @Focus 500k Burst but @Focus wanted to do the buy so people would say "WTF" based on our past I am guessing so @nameless sent him the 500k which he used to buy the 50k NewMiner shares which @Nameless is out now since this asset is doing just fine.
-
@newsense2004 So can you stop sending divs to him as those are stolen shares?
-
@Hyzi0 are they stolen if it was a friendly bet? I'm not sure how that is stealing.
-
@keyd0s I probably misunderstood then. Nameless and focus bet some time ago and nameless paid for it. Right now nameless can't get it back as focus won't transfer shares that Nameless bought right? or did Focus already pay his part to nameless?
-
@Hyzi0 I'm actually not exactly sure what happened as I can't make 100% sense of it. but the way I understood is that they made a bet some time ago. Nameless won and focus had to pay up 500k. but for an extra wtf factor he wanted to be the one to purchase those shares so nameless sent the burst back and had focus buy it and probably transfer the shares back to nameless? Not sure if that's correct but it's my interpretation. and I guess it's a friendly bet
Either way, Congratz on the sale @newsense2004 !

@RichBC said in [ANN] NewMiner:
First off I don't know what nameless and focus are playing at I can only assume it is a wager of some sort, time will tell?
So my guess was correct.

That's how I understand it. I don't know the exact terms of the bet.

@RichBC You were right all along, I am flattered as Nameless is a good trader from what I hear
