Explain this please!

@tross I'm Novell and VMWare trained and certified, but what has that got to do with anything?

If your pool doesn't win a round it's because the network didn't accept your DL, not my wallet, the whole network - I do not control the whole damn network. If enough nodes agree that yours is the best deadline, you win - it doesn't matter what my wallets think, if enough agree, you win - end of story.

  • @tross said in Explain this please!:

I dont agree because I was watching the network observer at the time and your pools showed small issues. I lost 2 blocks and with this burst price its no longer a cheap fix. 216.165.179.116 got the block cause your cluster wallets didnt see it. I tried to post image but your sever cried error. I am Novell trained and Certified dont mess with me. I kept my business to myself about your network problems. But I am tired of loosing blocks and having to pay my pool because of a bottle neck. How many miners are there in your network? How many PB run through your router.

If it isnt your setup then why is the network messing up? Tell me what you think it is!

You are directly accusing someone of something.
Yet you cannot show any technical proof.

I keep logs of my miners output. I can retrace all deadlines that my miners caclulated, exactly when they were broadcast and anyone can see whats on the blockchain. And I can tell you, mining solo with various versions of the client over 35 months show that I do not always get whats "mine". Sometimes deadlines are too late or just a little too late, or broadcasting is too slow, my ISP may have eaten some packets, sometimes there is no explanation from OBSERVING ONE NODE ONLY.

You decided not to start a technical fact finding hunt, you started to accuse someone.
    Now live with echo.

And on another note, Novell, Vmware certified ? Forget it, kids. I have 30+ years of unix+networking experience, AND an impressive beard.

So if you have some technical observation that explains exactly whats happening on Haitch's side to prevent the network from accpecting your deadlines, I can play the grumpy old man to decide. If you have nothing but the anger you've shown, shut up.

LOL - I have the same number of years of IT/Networking experience, but no impressive beard ...........

  • Novell? Damn I even removed that from my CV along with that MCSE !!

@rnahlawi I used to work for Novell Australia as a DSE (Dedicated Support Engineer), supporting a 50,000 user organization, with a 400 server Novell network. Ah, the good ol' days ..... ;-)

I didn't work for Novell, But I remember working with Novell was best and joyful time of my career :)

  • I am Microsoft certified too lol In the good old days I worked with the Hawk missile system where your life depended on your work!
haitch wife dont like the beard but like all the other hair its gray. I could get just as many people to stand behind me so it no feat.

Bla Bla Bla everyone is right in his or her own eyes. Just answer the question what is causing this?

The reference was to keep from getting bull shit and a straight answer.

I guess I leave this forum there are too many professors with no sense.

Take it easy man, The issue is with timing across the network.. the network decides the winner not me or you or haitch or anyone else. That's the answer

  • admin

@tross It's caused by the Burst network not accepting your deadline and instead accepting another one. That's not something I can control. You just need enough of the wallets that your pool wallet is connected to, to agree that you have the best deadline - it has nothing to do with my wallets or pools.

  • @rnahlawi Most the time their server lag behind mine so normally that means my wallet sends out 1 second faster than their wallet. I heard enough from others that had info so I need not bother supplying proof. I see that proof when my pool gets ripped off. I also seen how the network was when he was ddos. I dont agree with ddos but it showed one of 2 things his network is crap or burst cant handle this traffic.

Again, its not Haitch's Network .. he is ONE part on the network just you and me and everyone else with a wallet!
The DDOS will affect Haitch pools and wallets .. not the burst network!

  • How many pools does he serve? How many total miners are there at those pools ?

  • admin

@tross My network is crap, but is somehow manipulating all the wallets in the world to allow me to win blocks you should have ..... yeah, right. That is simply not feasible or possible. If enough of the wallets your pool is broadcasting your pool deadlines to agree that you have the best deadline, then you win. How could I possibly be manipulating every wallet in the world?

Occams Razor would say a more credible explanation is that there is a problem with your pool or wallet.

  • @tross I already told you once but it seems like you do nothing the consumption of pool resources is too high at least on the browser side.
In the image that I am going to put the first data is yours, the second is from the ninja pool and the third is from the lex pool, as you can see I have not put any of the ones here so as not to raise suspicions. And that data is triggered the moment it finds a block.

The excuse will be that these data are nothing for the pc of today, I agree, but if it indicates that something is wrong

Please all calm down, several things could cause a block not getting propagated to network ... if observing something like this, first question would be ... to how much peers a wallet is connected.

Maybe miners (for solo) and pool software needs to be improved, to re-commit a deadline if needed.
E.g. if new round should start but does not.

Also, please consider both cases ... sometimes you may win a block ... were someone else was not able to propagate it, due whatever problems. So it is fair after all.

Lets please not blame users without any proof or reason, better find solutions for technical problems.

  • @tross refusing to show proof does not help any of us or a way to fix any problem

  • @tross said in Explain this please!:

... so I need not bother supplying proof. I see that proof when my pool gets ripped off...

You have a feeling. You don't have anything else, at least nothing that you dare to show here.
    case closed.

And to add insult: Everybody understood the hilariousness of my 30years beard comment.
You defended it with "to keep from getting bullshit and a straight answer." Can we have an "ignore" button ? Might be useful.

  • admin

@vaxman There's already an Ignore button - click on the "Not Watching" button at the end of the thread.

@tross This is me manipulating the wallets again?

Our 51 second deadline lost the block to a 52 second deadline ......

  • @haitch lol I got a better example 1 sec is understandable but frustrating but I bet if my pool got the 52 sec we wouldnt of won.

I am talking when your time ran out and instead of a new block you wait 2 min for the next block. Watch it happen a couple times a day and you would wonder too. Wait is it normal when you get 3 blocks taken away in 12 hours.
