16,000 unconfirmed transactions in memory
-
how do you check the unconfirmed transactions?
-
@msgAnton I check them through the api, goto : https://wallet.burst-team.us:8125/test and find getUnconfirmedTransactionIds, then click submit with empty info and it shows the current unconfirmed list.
-
@Hect0r nice, that works.

Did you count up each line?
-
@rds I didnt lol, I have no idea how many current tx's are floating about in the unconfirmed, I havent counted them, I would just do a http_get request over php or whatever and do a sizeof the array unconfirmedTransactions but im currently writing other stuff.
-
@rds I'm working with the API and have a regular readout of the number of unconfirmed transactions.

Is that something anyone can access? Just curious.
-
@rds No, but as @Hect0r said above, you can access the API directly if you're running a full wallet. Go to http://localhost:8125/test?requestTag=TRANSACTIONS and click "getUnconfirmedTransactionIds" then click submit. You'll see an array of all pending transactions on the network (that your node has seen).
-
@FlippyCakes Maybe burst should implement something like this:
https://github.com/fimkrypto/fimk/commit/73b6a75681dd5661dbded3c8a6938e13934dbd3f
Sadly code can not just be adopted, but the idea as far as i can see is to adjust number of unconfirmed transaction depending on what hardware (amount of memory) is available.
-
@luxe Yes, definitely. If that is not already in the code, it should be. Or I'm guessing someone can take down most of the nodes on the network by spamming tens of thousands transactions.
-
@FlippyCakes I highly doubt my new setup would crash again, 8 Cores, 32gb of ram, its the only wallet on their lol, I dont expect my new rig to be crashed by the rain anytime soon, it can only fork with the others lol
