gpedro's Letter to the community about BBrowser

  • @emcb I think it is a bit wrong, one thing is for the police to come to my house or a judge and I conceal a criminal or even it is me who gets the data to a police station and another is that I inform anyone who comes to my house.

Another very different thing is that if I feel defrauded and I want to denounce can request by private message that data to whom it corresponds

No matter what @MikeMike thinks, he is not responsible for the forum or the asset nor cheated on anyone. I in his place knowing the address of @JackManMania also would not publish it among other things because it would be illegal in my country.

    I think you're holding hands

Do not forget that harboring a criminal is also a crime in most countries (if you are not a close relative)!
If Jack is a minor, it is necessary to publish information about those legal responsible (parents, guardians), to allow investors to contact them directly to resolve the issue.

@MikeMike said in gpedro's Letter to the community about BBrowser:

There are many things I can't do under the circumstances but am considering what actions I can take to help.

If you are trying to solve this issue, then please keep us informed of events.

I am more than willing to cooperate with Law Enforcement whenever that time should come.
The accusations being thrown around are immature.
Once gpedro contacts me things could have an opportunity to move forward of whatever involvement I choose to take but if these posts continue I might just remove myself from this entire situation till I receive notice from Law Enforcement.

    Sincerely,
    MikeMike

  • @MikeMike you certainly may ask my age, why is it relevant though? I am looking for an answer to where the proceeds from this asset went and since gpedro claims that Jack is the only one who can provide the answers then I believe he or his legal guardian owes the investors who have lost funds an explanation. Simple. No one is asking you to be judge, jury or executioner here; just use the information you claim to have to open a line of communication with a responsible guardian or give the information to a responsible party who will.

That Jack was/is a minor was not disclosed when this investment was listed so I think it is fair to demand an answer. That you have an NDA signed with a legal guardian of Jack's does not prohibit you from acting and/or turning the information over to an appropriate authority since you are now aware that a fraud has been committed. NDA's do not protect against fraud! @IceBurst ...thanks for the refresher link though I still do not know exactly what jurisdiction our friend Jack resides in...I understand he resides in the United Kingdom where the disclosure laws are different than in the U.S.. Further, read the guidelines in the link you sent...in general the exposing of Jack's/legal guardian information in response to his defrauding investors here would be perfectly legitimate as it would be done in the public interest to prevent further damage to others; let's not forget that as we write here Jack is still actively trying to defraud potential investors with his scam. In any case though you are correct that in general it is never appropriate to release the private details of a minor in any jurisdiction; it is permissable though to release/utilize the details of a declared legal guardian responsible for the actions of the minor which in this case @MikeMike claims he has.

@MikeMike :I can see further debate of this will go nowhere so I only hope that gpedro can persuade you to take some kind of beneficial action as it will speak volumes not just for those investors who have lost here but also for future investors looking to invest in other assets in the BURST community.

Do you actually think you are motivating me?
Looks like you are just starting to "get it".
Keep at it and in time you will figure it all out.
There is no need for you, anyone else here nor gpedro to persuade me and
I am besides myself how I had been treated here as one who is trying to help in this situation
which is why "age, experience and wisdom as well as critical thinking ability" is a factor...
Let alone I had helped gpedro see the need to get together the facts properly to make this thread.

  • @MikeMike To begin with, I am definitely not trying to motivate you, doing the right thing should just come naturally. Second...can you expand on what it is exactly that I am just starting to get? A bit vague for a simpleton like me I suppose... let me try though... if you are "besides yourself" with the way you think you are being treated then it is obvious to me that you are the one who needs to supply your age here, not me . You are simply too thin-skinned if you think what is being asked of you is meant as an insult on your person. The information you admit you possess demands action, nothing more. I suspect you would know this if you had the very benefit of "age, experience and wisdom" along with just a bit of "critical-thinking ability" that you seem to assume is lacking in me.

    Did I "get it"?

I'm sure everyone else "gets it" about you as well.
    Nice job at outing yourself.
    (.)

    Be well...

  • @MikeMike ..same to you

  • @AndrewDD

@nameless Can we get this guy a cookie please.
They really went above and beyond.
    :-)

  • not sure if cookies are in order here... but then again, the condition was to make a meaningful comment, so i guess it qualifies

  • @MikeMike I was done with you 24 hours ago, you are useless. Take care.

@AndrewDD @MikeMike can you two please stop this fight - it's not achieving anything.

@MikeMike JackManMania has scammed this community - that's a fact, not an opinion. You alone have his personal details and the ability to contact him, or his guardians as he is a minor. I'm asking you to contact him or his guardians to determine how this issue can be resolved. If you're not willing to reach out to them, please provide the information to someone else in the community who is willing and able to deal with this ongoing scam.

  • I have been busy and not around in the last couple of days and now i was reading this and was like WTF happened in here...
I agree, like i said in previous posts, that as Jack is a minor i don't think DOXing him is a decision to be taken lightly but is clear that we have to do something in here, right @mikemike ?
I'm with @haitch, we need to contact his legal guardians, because i am pretty sure that they don't have a single clue about this, if they do, they can be investigated aswell and probably take the fall for Jack's actions or pay from their pocket for Jack's mystakes... And yes, i am aware of the family issues, but i don't agree that those are an excuse for us to let things die as they are, because Jack should have thought in that before before doing his sh*** and ran away with the investors money and property (the hdds, wich in fact cost more than the amount he ran away with)...
As far as i know Jack had a couple of jobs in his personal life and he was making more money than i do, so he should be able to pay all he stole with much less than a month of salary, so IMHO all we need to do is contact his legal guardians and hope they will solve the issue with fear of the Legal repercussions...!
@MikeMike we can arrange the meeting in Mumble but i don't think there's much to discuss since i think all is more than proved... Provably the only thing to discuss is how to approach his mother, and like i said i am available to discuss it when you can. Please let me know! ;D
