Mining with 2.8TB , not earning
-
I'm struggling to earn with mining but no hope, everyday nothing earned. Is the difficulty too high. How much capacity needed for some earning
-
@sleepy do you get confirmed deadlines? If not, either your miner settings are wrong or you should switch to a pool with a lower target deadline. Where are you mining?
*or your pool has a high min payment amount and you need some time to hit it for a payout
-
@Creepsky Yes they are confirmed. how much time is needed for 80 Burst
-
@sleepy you can use the calculator.
~142 Burst/day, so ~13-14 hours for 80 Burst.
-
Decided not to mine because its useless, not even close i get that amount
-
@Creepsky the calculator is reallying hard to go off some days on my 2tb I get 300 some days none some days 40. It should be used with a grain of salt. I always figure you'll make on Avg that amount to you can't go by it for daily.
I can say with 2.8 you should make atleast 60 a day so maybe change you pool.
My favorite pool for 2tb is news but it will be shut down soon and could stop paying athe any point
-
@skyline_king88 I decided to buy a 4TB external hard, but now i'm not investing on it , it seems difficulty is too high and it is rising.
-
@sleepy yes I can't say right now is a good time to buy hdd to try to make roi fast. If you can find cheap or free good but I also have decided now would not be good time to buy new hdds gonna see how things go with price over next couple months
-
@sleepy you have to remember also, if the price of Burst increases, then the payback time for you investment decreases. So buying drives with the cheapest cost per TB will give you the shortest payback time.
-
Calculator is wrong and just an estimate in the wrong direction. However you are at 51 coins right now and lowered pool from 70 to 50. Keep your hard drive mining and it gets stronger and will increase the shares found. If you turned of your miner you might of missed payout too
-
@Burstde I'll come back after I have enough capacity. Currently I have to run 1 desktop with 2 x 1TB ,one laptop 1 TB with network, and one portable hardisk 1TB. Electricity usage will be high if I keep mining like this. I'll buy a separate external hard so i can fix it to the laptop only.
-
@sleepy pool.burstcoin.eu is the best pool to use if you have under 20TB of mining capacity.
You could also try buying some mining asset shares, there's plenty of different mining assets.
And just to reiterate the mining calculators are not accurate they can only give you an average since some days you will mine almost nothing and other days you will mine hundreds or maybe even thousands of Burst.

@socal I will second that motion

I don't know about that many have come over from there
