Keep your system time in sync please!
-
When I launch the qora wallet it sync's the time when loading...have you seen it and can it work for us
-
A time server can go down ... all wallets using same time server is that still decentralized?! i'm not sure whats the better solution, i just wanted to remind us all (mainly solo miners and pool owners) ... that sync time is important!
-
Actually everyone using a different time program would be good. Both time programs I use have ntp but use different servers. Burstcoin wallets have trusted peers which should keep us sync provided everyone had some kind of time manager.
-
@tross In the tool i mentioned above (for win) you can configure the servers yourself.
-
@luxe mine as well just am lazy and use defaults
edited. I will look at yours might like it better thanks for posting!
-
Thats the ntp-server i use ... maybe others could also provide links :-)

dead link!?

@nixxda not for me

-
@Energy now I see!-) must have been down for a moment there.
-
@luxe Checked mine - all in sync via NTP
-
Windows 10 Registry hack to add your ntp server of your choice. Might be wise to add one closest to your location. Scroll down to the section: Registry key... HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\DateTime\Servers to set a custom NTP server. Oh BTW always back up the registry before editing.
-
Everyone running a pool or mining solo should check (if not sure about it) if system time is in sync. i saw some rejected blocks due to wrong time in wallets logs in the last days.
-
@luxe ntptime reports the time is ok on all mine.
-
@haitch I was quite sure it was not on your side, maybe new solo miner or a new pool.
