Android mining - plotting on pc?
-
@k.coins can you tell me how to do it? Didn't know that and started CPU plotting :P
-
@DexterStoner Sure but small problem atm - only way I know how to do it is through @Blago 's wplotgenerator and I can't find a link for it. Nor do I think it's included in the new AIO @daWallet ... Lemme look around some more and get back to you. If we can't find it, I'll upload it directly.

@k.coins Thanks

@DexterStoner We'll this is a start - I found what you need on @RiskyFire 's old video.
This is actually the first way I learned to plot. So maybe you can start here too. He includes the files you'll need (CPU plotter and batch file) in the video description. Let me know if you get stuck.
...and when he's going through the parameters, remember, for Android mining, you'll want to fill your SDcard with 1 Gb plots all with a stagger of 1.

Thanks. So I figured out it should be like this @numericaccount id_0_4096_1
Am I right?
Jeez, I tried, but it deletes old files with gpuplotgenerator. It sart creating one plot and after doing it again it just deletes or overwrite the old one. :D

@DexterStoner change your next file's starting nonce - instead of 0 start the next one at 4096. They won't overlap this way but otherwise looks like you're getting it!
Edit: each new file's starting nonce should be (previous starting nonce) + 4096. A spread sheet is helpful for this and then just make a batch file to run through all the plots.
-
I think I got it, just in the bat file i added after first 0 nonce 4096 and copied it 100 times in total gpuplotgenerator showing me now that it will create 100 plots each of 1 gb and stagger size of 1 :)
-
@DexterStoner word. What are your first couple plot file names?
-
@k.coins I think it doesn't work as I want it to. It kinda didn't do anything at all. it creadet two files one with 0 plot sarting second with 4096, will try wplotgenerator or other software.
-
@DexterStoner sounds like it might work, it's just that each file created has to start after the previous one. The 0 is the starting nonce for your first plot. The next plot should start at 4096, the next at 8192, the next at 12,288 and so on (i.e. nonoverlapping 1 Gb plots). Get the bat file to run the commands in sequence by copy and pasting 100 lines each with successive starting nonces, not all starting at 0. That's why I thought the spreadsheet was helpful.

@k.coins Ah I see it, jeez I'm so noob :D Ok will try it later on, need sleep now :D Thanks mate! :D
