well, here is my take as an investor :
@haitch stated something and Adam defended himself. Without this video it was a "he said - he said" situation . The video shows what happened (as far as I know @haitch did not react yet, so just have to go by what was shown) .Since I read both sites I know that Adam's team is willing to resolve Burst4all asset issues and - as an investor- that is all I care about.
I am a bit more concerned about the other video revealing something puzzling with some pools potentially screwing a bunch of miners and (according to the video) causing the network issues - the pools are hosted by @haitch (again, going only by the video).
other video is here if someone wants to check it out:
Just to note and help keep this all in context the voice on the video is goodplanets lex. One of the asset owners along with Haitch, Adam, Focus and Crowetic.
Just to clarify, that is not @goodplanets-lex's ( @goodplanets ) voice in the video. newsense2004's claim is patently false. It does sound just like Adam's voice, however. Has the Canadian long-O sound and everything.
I now have zero confidence in anything @newsense2004 says. I'm starting to see why even the deplorables don't want him.
-
@sevencardz I missed this one - just to clarify for the record I am not and never have been an owner of the Burst4All asset. I have shares, but am not an "owner".

Seems to me like @Han-Solo is the canary in the coal mine here my peeps. @haitch can you address his concerns?
With the network apparently at a nearly 50/50 split, there are obvious reasons for so many forks - transactions are only being broadcast among the competing "networks." Doesn't the solution seem obvious??? Sync up!

@newsense2004 it's actually really isn't good planets, not that I care but I'll bet you a million burst, with all these people as my witness
-
@newsense2004 Your over-defensiveness confirms your lie... or at least your severe confusion. Do you really know who you were talking to in those chats? lol

I am mining solo and there is no chance to join any pool. I have now 165 TB and for sure I will start to get involved in Storj project and SIA in the coming days.
So I have experience with both of these coins. Storj does pay well for the space used but it's only based on the demand of the user load. After 3 months I only have 30GB of content which pays about 50Storj per 30 days.
I mined SIA with GPU, but literally the value of SIA is in the shitter (30s Sats last I checked), you can do the same with SIA by renting out your storage however if you fail to maintain a contract with SIA they take your coins, an interesting concept but do you trust it.

I have a proposal. All you burst Nation fucktards go back there.
Interesting, i like it here but you need educated in manners. But for the record. It wasnt Goodplanet. It was Focus from what i can gather listening to previous videos he has posted on this forum.

@jj1k all you Canadians sound the same.

Burst.ninja is in the list of well known peers on all my pools. I did not write the ninja.pool code and do not have the ability to make the changes required to delay transmissions - the transmission is done by the wallet. I have never even looked at the wallet code as I know no Java at all. I run the standard wallet code Luxe releases.
Also, the opposite has happened repeatedly - three of my pools will "win" the block, but the network will not accept it - and then Ninja wins it. I will post screenshots the next time I see it happen. I am NOT the one screwing with the network.
-
Not that I really care about any of this, but it says on the video that it was recorded by Focus, not necessarily commented by him. And if we can't even be sure who is talking in Adam's videos, I don't understand why anyone has any confidence in him either.
-
wow, @haitch, why is this guy still around? you want your forum to grow but this guy will drive us all away.

Im not Canadian, I have never met or spoke to you in person so i really dont see where this is going. Do you hate on everyone that corrects you with proper evidence?
-
@haitch Valid point, as I do see it going both ways. But at the same time, can anyone truly be blamed for "screwing the network" if it's a 50/50 split? I mean we can play the semantics game and blame people for splitting the community but I guess this is a true test of the coin's consensus mechanism - will it stabilize or continue to cause forks? And at what cost?
-
@k.coins The real question is why did this only start happening over the past few days? None of us have the ability to modify the pool code - so what has been changed ?
-
@haitch lots and lots of transactions being verified by approximately only half the network... isn't that what has changed? lol - sorry, don't want to sound rude but that's how it seems... but as to why??
If you haven't "blacklisted" them, have they "blacklisted" you? Even though a blacklist would only slow things down by putting roadblocks in certain places, as was mentioned above, information can still travel around, only in a slower manner. So, from that premise, it's when the blocks start flying by faster then one every 4 minutes, that's when the forks start happening - not enough time for the information to disperse around the roadblocks.
-
@k.coins You're welcome to look at all my configs - I have not blacklisted them - if you really want to see, I'm willing to do a TeamViewer session as many in the community are willing to listen to you. It's possible they have blacklisted me - some of my wallets don't show them as a peer, some show them as disconnected, and some show connected
-
I found this in my nxt.properties config file. Is this part of the problem? Who determines these addresses are "blacklist"?

@ all agitators
I'm starting to get really pissed off by all the hostility that has been unleashed lately. You must get a hold of yourselves and stop acting like pricks. The Burst community should not be defined by which forum we are most active in, and it should most certainly not be defined by some of the loudest voices apparent in these threads. Some of you keep complaining about certain others "destroying the coin", when you obviously don't see that it is your constant negativity that scares away new people and old alike, thus destroying the community feeling that has embraced so many of us. Zeus's departure is a clear testament to this. Your anti-social behaviour is detrimental to any kind of development.
Stop attacking individuals and the other forum, we are all free to choose where we want to hang around and who we want to talk to, but it sounds more like the choice is A or B or fuck off from Burst entirely. Do you have any idea how dysfunctional that is? Remember that Burst is a community project and not owned by anyone, which also means that individuals can do as they please to promote Burst or build services tied to Burst tech without being second-guessed every step of the way. Instead of creating noise, you miserable sods could've earned a fortune from clicking faucets. Sadly, you're focusing all your energy on creating as big of a divide in the community as humanly possible.
By all means, discussion and disagreement is good, but take a deep breath and a step back and ask yourself if you are truly making Burst better or worse by pointing fingers, and then zoom out and think about the big picture and not just about individuals. There is so much we can accomplish together, but then there needs to be room for all of us, and for growth and development. The irony of this thread containing the phrase "Burst for all" in its name is depressing. Ease up on these petty disputes for the sake of the rest of us who are sick and tired of reading about this crap, and before you make more of my old friends leave and my future friends never come.
