pool.ccminer.net:8080 new pool for big miners!!!

@rds Worth checking that submissions are being made as Block Explorer shows 10.03 minutes for Block #329362

Also I don't suggest anyone with less than 20TB utilize this pool, since the deadline limit for the pool is 24 hours anything less than ~20TB won't get a lot of deadlines.
Source: Me, I currently have 10TB on the pool and in almost 7 hours I've gotten about one confirmed DL every two hours (yes I've been watching it and no I currently do not have a life lol)
-
I'm going to start selling all the useless things I have around here, because with 4.5 TB I'm very small
-
@socal I have 80TB and on ninja can make about 80% of deadlines which is fine. I would say the 50TB up is ok as if you look at the reward you get for those long deadlines it's very small, so you are not missing much.
Will move my 80TB here Tomorrow when I am back home and can redo the config. Let's hit a couple of Blocks in the meantime.
My average with 80TB is 2 per Day, so with ccminer with 135TB and growing :-) that should give us 5 a Day. Could do with another 250TB and we could then average a Block every couple of Hours.

@socal yeah it's better to join with 20/30 TB, for now with just few miners it will be good with less TB as well because you will not share the reward with many people, but it is your call

@tross I trully believe that you did a great job with your pool and that the code your are using is great.
I'm not here to compete with you I'm just offering an alternative to .ninja pool. I'm a big miner myself that solomine untill yesterday, and I'm offering a pool for big miners like me, if many people will join and move them from .ninja it's ok else it's ok as well.
-
@ccminer I see your position and I might of done the same. Lots of large only pools will kill burst. This is from where I see it and without the little guy burst wont make it. Our pools will be choked out of existence. I cant change peoples minds so let it be everyone we see when it happens.
-
@tross I see lots of small pool as well, I mean for small miners.
No one can sto me to purchase 2 or even 3 PT to mine if I want and have the money to do so, and honestly I don't think it will be bad for burst

@tross that's why we launched this pool my friend following what @dawallet wrote yesterday.
If this will not help, I'm ready to leave it, and go back solo, I'm just offering an alternative to .ninja that actually has no competitors.I think that the SPAM we are "enjoying" recently is the cause of this network hiccups
-
@tross said in pool.ccminer.net:8080 new pool for big miners!!!:
Miners like Rich will leave and go back to ninja.
I think you can leave me to make my own decisions and speak for myself.
Let's see how this goes, at the moment let's be happy that it is an additional Pool which is helping the network
Thanks Rich

@tross I'm not stubborn as othe pools owners (not you) if my pool will cause issues as .ninja now, as I said I'm ready to reconsider for burst benefit

@tross I left your Pool more because I did not like the algorithm for the Historic Shares than any other reason. Also let's remember that this is the ccminer pool thread.

@tross Small pools will still do fine. Look at the mobile pool - it's won blocks with miners < 1TB. Big miners are going to win more blocks, and it doesn't matter whether they're mining in a pool for big miners, a small pool or solo. For smaller miners , mining at a pool is beneficial - they can share their luck while waiting to get the lucky block.
-
@ccminer OK off to a good start I make it about 260TB Mining, assuming everyone is on a single PC. Will be back Home in 24 Hours so will join you then. So who's going to find the first Block? :-)
