pool.ccminer.net:8080 new pool for big miners!!!
-
@haitch so now we are back to 300BURST level am I right?
-
@ccminer Way to go ccm. have you switched in the Tubo :-)
Rich
-
@ccminer Just for the payment: I dropped it, the pool paid out, I put it back up. I'll monitor the chain and the pool, when the chain is clean and there are payments to be made, I'll dropit so payments can go out.
-
@RichBC eheheheh this is just the beginning and you know it ;)
@haitch ok I need to know for the daily payout of my asset, maybe later I'll ask you to lower once again to get this block as well
-
@ccminer I'll do it again when the skies are clear ...........
-
@haitch as I said to you on PM their pools are facing the same s**t so I think no SPAM for today, we will see
-
@ccminer They admit that they have the same double payout issue, but when it happens to them Uncle Adam covers it. When it happens to me, I cover it - but it's due to my incompetence it's happening to me ............. why is it happening to them then ?
-
@haitch better I PM you
-
I think the more that 300 for payout is a good Idea. It makes the fee for payment less of a burden to either the payee or the pool or both. If you send 3-300B payouts you pay a fee of 3B. If you send out 1-900B payout the fee is 1B. May not sound like alot but multiply that by all the miner payouts 27/7.
-
BTW, I remember a discussion, maybe on a different thread. Who gets the fees associated with the forged block on the ccminer:8080 pool? Does the pool keep the block fees or are they distributed to the miners? The fees right now are not insignificant as compared to the block fee. 500B fee is almost a 20% premium. How are the fees distributed.
-
@rds fees are used with ccminer mining results to payout CCMINER1000 and CCMINER100 assets payouts
-
@rds We don't know whether transaction fees go to the miners or the pool owner. Catbref or someone who can go through the code will be able to answer it. But the fees from all the Burst-Team style pools go to assets - so they don't go to pool owners in either case.

What is a "Burst-Team style pool", is that a "Ninja" pool?
-
@rds Yes, ninja style, but as more people mine at the burst-team pool, I stopped calling then ninja styled.
-
@haitch please unstuck the pool when you can. I tried with no success

It was Stuck / Forked when I went to bed, it was Stuck on the same Block when I got up, so for the moment I am back on ninja.....

@RichBC The pool is back to normal
-
@ccminer OK good, unfortunately I am on Holiday for the Week and after it being off all night had to decide what to do, so I ran for cover on ninja. It,s most unfortunate because I have had 5 Blocks while in transit.
Good Luck
Rich

@RichBC lucky you!!
Enjoy your vacation ;)

With block fees during rainstorms in the 400-700 burst range and diminishing block rewards over time, transaction fees are significant for the miner. If the pool is keeping those fees then it's a no brainer, at least for me, that solo mining is the only way to go. More income (tx fees), more local wallets mining supporting a more decentralized network. Since I don't use my mining income to pay my monthly bills, I can withstand the variability in block reward payments.
