pool.ccminer.net:8080 new pool for big miners!!!

@RichBC I'm changing the pools so I can manually trigger a payment when it's not raining.
-
@haitch So you are saying that it's the rain causing this problem, bit worrying is it can have that effect?
-
@haitch Please let's use proper vocabulary, it's not RAIN, but it is SPAM!
-
@RichBC more than a bit
-
@RichBC I'm fairly confident it is. The pools make their payouts, but due to the rain the payouts don't get on the blockchain. After some period the pool sees the payments haven't occurred, so does them again and maybe again - the rain stops and the multiple payouts get processed, leaving the pool without funds to make the next payouts. Over the last few weeks I've spent about 250K topping pools up because they've got insufficient funds - this should stop that.
-
@ccminer OK that makes sense, did not realised that you had seen this before. Do the "other" ninja pools suffer with this as well?
Rich
-
@RichBC Yeah, I've had to top them all up so they've had the funds to payout
-
I know a lot was talked about here so this maybe is an FYI. Sometimes during a rain the winning block reward of 2146 is delayed to the pool. This has happened to other pools as well.
-
over 15 mins deadline block sooooo sweet ;)
-
Pool seems to be running fine, but we are not finding enough Blocks, could do with another 500TB, so if there is anyone sitting on the sidelines come and join us.
In case anyone wonders BURTS-EXTRA-CLOUD is my experimental Cloud Miner on an Amazon Drive. I have 30TB of Plots uploaded, but am just mining with 16TB as from Home even that takes 8 Minutes to scan, so usually does not get through the Plot.
So that is my excuse as to why my read speed is slow, however I have noted some very long read times from people. I have see 4 Minutes and even 6 minutes, so take a look at your scan times. Time is Money :-)

why such big deferred payouts on this pool? I saw something about where @haitch is going to hold payments until ?? Is there a 24hr 300 burst protocol, or has that changed? I thought the source code was unavailable to make changes so how can you change that?
-
@rds there's a config file that specifies at what level the payouts occur. I've set it very high so it doesn't try to payout when it's raining, then will drop it back to 300 to trigger the payouts.

When do you decide to make the payments "rain"?

just got back and I saw one pc stuck!!! So I lost 3 hours of mining and one drive of 4TB plotted at 89%!!! F**K I have to restart plotting from 0..................................
-
I added another 34TB miner :)
-
so unlucky today we are loosing blocks with seconds
-
@ccminer yeah it happens, 23 seconds :(
I'll be moving drives from NAS to SATA, will take time to plot, but will give better read speeds. Also, I ordered additional 30TBs which will be plotted and mining within 2 weeks. Cheer up :)
-
@rnahlawi This is sweet ;)

Finally a couple of blocks
