Jminer not working for me :/
-
@vExact in the folder burstcoin-jminer-0.4.5-RELEASE you have to edit the file run.bat and delete -d64 or you have to install java x64
edit: It is clear that my English is lousy and I have to use the translator who always answered the last one jejeje

Thanks for the replies guys. It says that the Java instance does not support a 64-bit JVM:
C:\Users\vExact\AppData\Roaming\BurstWallet\burstcoin-jminer-0.4.5-RELEASE>java -jar -d64 -XX:+UseG1GC burstcoin-jminer-0.4.5-RELEASE.jar Error: This Java instance does not support a 64-bit JVM. Please install the desired version. C:\Users\vExact\AppData\Roaming\BurstWallet\burstcoin-jminer-0.4.5-RELEASE>pause Press any key to continue . . .I did what @Energy suggested and now it's working :) Shall I install a 64-bit java version?

Yeah, you need a 64-bit version of java
-
@jj1k right. It's working nice indeed. Actually I am getting better DL now :) My laptop is x64 so I am going to install x64Java now :) Thanks everyone.
-
@vExact jminer can also work with 32bit java (remove '-d64') but it is highly recommned to use 64bit, due to limited memory of 32bit. (java version has no influence on deadline)

Yes, I thought the same :)
-
@vExact i added the '-d64' cause most users do not even know they have 32bit installed, so they get a hint. Also your burst wallet will run better with 64bit.

Well today with only 2.7 TB I have for the first time forged the first block (#329510) :)
This has made my day and I am happy :) It happened using Jminer. Just wanted to share it with you all.

@luxe Hello, here's my 'pause' error grab:
Thanks in advance for your help
-
@rbcarruthers try to put miner's folder to another (without spaces in folder's name like "Program Files")
-
@rbcarruthers install java it will work fine
-
@Blago changed the folder name to jminer, that didn't work.
-
@popoy17
already have Java installed, I assume it is 64 bit but not sure how to check. The installer should have put 64 bit in by default, no? What I'm not sure about is what kind of OpenCL I have installed, if any. Do you know how I check? My graphics card (GeForce 660 ti) is apparently shit at mining so I may go with a CPU mining program instead.
-
@Blago I'll try your CPU miner next <:o)
-
@popoy17 I found the Java Control Panel and it says I'm running Vers 8 Update 121. I tried running another Java programme to optimise my plots and that won't run either:

-
@rbcarruthers installed Java has to be 64 bits, otherwise you have to remove "-d64" form the script.
-
@rbcarruthers by the way check if your plotted directory is correct if you are using 64 bit check it and also different in 32 bit or x86 cause it have his own folder
-
@rbcarruthers Guess you downloaded the source-code, that will not work! ... go here https://github.com/de-luxe/burstcoin-jminer/releases and download the zip file (compiled binaries)...
