@nox ooh did I twist your panties? I'm sorry ;)

You are not worth my time.

    :( okey, love you

  • @haitch said in Jervis - NEWS Asset Scammer:

@mathew Yes, I have an address he gave me, but with no verification it could be just some random person. I'm not going to give out those details and potentially have some innocent person subjected to abuse. If he was verified, then in some time I would give out the details, but these are unverified - so not being given out.

@Haitch I respect you but you have seriously dropped the ball on this if you have allowed NEWS to operate without proper verification.

  • I think verification is not mandatory or at least it was not until recently, anyone can create an asset and not post it in this forum.

But I still get paid for this asset, if the shares are cheap, it will be the fault of the seller, not the one who created the asset.

And of course he loses a little that not many explanations, but whenever he pays.......

  • @nox You cannot blame anyone here except yourself for accepting the risk. Many are operating without ID verification and without escrow account. Investors have the choice to invest with them and accept the risk level. ID verification will only minimize the risk and add reputation for the asset issuer, ID verification will never stop frauds from running away and will never get you back your money!

  • @nox Dude why is it saying you bought NEWS asset recently on the asset page LOL WTF, is BURST-2N4Y-6445-7J8U-8LPHJ you? Seriously though you shouldn't buy NEWS.

  • @hah people still think its not a scam and believe that it will come back so they are buying shares very cheap

  • @mathew Well i still hope it will recower. To be honest i invested in it too when it was considered safe. Not since he disapeared. But im not going to sell it for so cheap... Just no point. Im still getting dividends on it . And not even bad ones. So i just hope it will recover at some point but lets see...

  • @potkas I have an investment and early on exchanged several Chat's with Jervis. Felt very comfortable with the Asset and it was not even on my radar that it might be a scam.

Something went wrong that we will probably never understand, however we as Shareholders have been very badly treated with all the Assets being sold, with not a word as to why.

The fact that the mining part of the operation is continuing to fund a Dividend is perhaps surprising and like others I will not be selling because it's not worth it to do so.

However even if Jervis was to return with some sort of explanation, return the Assets etc I would be a Seller as soon as the price was sufficient as Assets are all about trust and he has lost all of that.

  • I can't understand how anyone can still hope that it's not a scam and Jervis can explain all this.

Jervis is gone. Assets are gone. BURSTs are gone. You can't see jervis's burst miner on the pool anymore. Trading account "was held up" and gpu miner is no longer active as he said.

The only thing that gives people hope is dividends ~1$ per day, but he got more than 10000$ from assetholders. And if you are still asking: "Why is he paying this 1$?" the answer is simple. He is still trying to take more from this community and it works. There are still some people who buys this piece of shit.

Just look at his burst acc. ( BURST-RXNN-UAZZ-9Q7Z-3BE5N). There are no NEWS assets anymore. He transfered them here (BURST-7Y3J-KUXZ-B9G2-9RLHG) and from this one more than 100'000 shares to numerous other accounts on of which is BURST-BX7E-VURH-R5UB-CJB2D. He have sent here 13000+ asssets (I have bought similar amount with more than 1 million burst) and placed them on AE for 18 burst and got some sales already. And he is still trying to sell the rest of assets.

Can non-scammer asset issuer do everything written above without any words in a few weeks? Maybe I missed something but I don't think so. I hate this guy now.

  • Please let me know if the former NEWS holds any IBMining. Current share counts and addresses, I can exclude him from dividends.

  • What I am extremely disappointed in is that a major asset issuer, Jervis, did not finish the identity process and that @Haitch made no attempt to inform us that @jerivs could potentially be fraudulent. If the identity is "meaningless" and "fraudulent" as you said @haitch , why didn't you make any attempt to stop this from operating on your forum? Did you just now realize that the details were fraudulent? Did you do any investigation to validate the information he gave you?

  • @nox I think you need to understand that a number of Asset issuer's have not had their identity verified. Verification was / is an optional process. It is up to purchasers of Assets to do their research including the verification status of an Asset issuer and make their own decision on whether to invest.

As I understand it Jervis was part way into the Identity Verification process when he chose to start selling Assets and disappear etc. There was nothing that @haitch could do about this. I will leave him to make any additional comments.

@nox Jervis never appeared on the ID Verified list, not even as provisionally verified, so there was nothing to inform. Should I tell you which of the other 3,000 users here are not verified? He didn't complete the process, so the details he gave me are meaningless. For those that have completed it, I have verifiable personal information, but those that don't complete, I have nothing verifiable or useable.

I proposed making ID Verification mandatory to advertise here, and the push back was immediate and more significant than I anticipated. Reputable asset owners were going to walk away because they had good reasons not to be verified. I'm looking at alternatives, but the issue really comes down to do your own research before investing. ID Verified means something, but it's not a guarantee, and for a non-verified member like Jervis, what do you expect me to do ?

@Haitch You're replying to me but not to what I said.

@nox The details provided are meaningless if they don't complete the process. Completing the process verifies that the information they gave me is correct - without completing the process the details provided could belong to anyone.

What am I supposed to investigate? Is the information he gave me real in that there is a person with this name that lives at this address? Sure I can investigate that. Is that person Jervis? I have no idea.

Whereas, for someone who has completed the process, I have a confirmation that they are this person, living at this address, due to them providing valid verifiable information.

  • Seriously people STOP buying NEWS asset it's a fucking scam you guys should dump or get the fuck out of that thing as soon as you see this post. Wanna know why it's a scam? Check these addresses for yourself, I did the research for you so don't cry later if you keep on buying and not sell. I know your pain of having 1/16 worth in NEWS value but if you sell you get some money back now. I bought 2019 NEWS asset at 100 each it pains me to sell it for 5 each but seriously Jervis is a piece of shit.

Folks, now is that time for those who believe, start praying for Gods justice. I know that everything we lost won't bring happiness for him for a long time.

Life's paybacks are always true. He will understand that sooner or later.
