Double standard much......
-
@stupendelious There are a lot of people who are happily co-existing on both sites, the disagreements are between a small subset of the community.
-
@haitch I really don't understand the disagreements fully enough to give my opinions but this really pisses me off

The "Official" hub. Fuck off calling yourself the "official" runners of burstcoin. The only person that has the right to say that is the guy that created burstcoin.
-
IMHO @haitch I think this whole thread should be removed, and you should make a single locked thread stating something along the lines of "trash talking / disrespecting / negativity towards other forums on this forum will not be tolerated" and have that be the end of it over here.
-
@stupendelious Thanks ... burstcoin has no official anything ... it is a community project with a lot contributing users, but no hierarchy or lead ...
-
@DougLife No. I'm done with being nice. They are trash talking these forums, me personally, other members here - this thread is public for people to see and comment on their hypocrisy and double standards. Asking why I got banned is reason to be banned again ?
-
@haitch Ok.
-
The most important part of burstcoin is its network and blockchain, as long as you are with the longest chain, you will be fine. Those who think that individuals are somehow more important than the network itself or the people maintaining its security are those who don’t actually understand how cryptocurrency really works. They are not in it for its ideals but are more there because they see it as an opportunity to scam and make a quick buck and these types of individuals seem to have a very short shelf life.
There is nothing to worry about over here, competition is healthy, it can be dirty sometimes as in the real world but over the long run it is content quality that will make the difference between the forums. If I were a betting man, I would put my money on this forum to survive and thrive and get much bigger in the future.
There are people who believe that any publicity is good publicity and that’s exactly what’s going on here, they are using this “war” to bring more members and page views to their website and some guys are unfortunately falling for it. “Ignore the troll” and the troll will just go back and hide in its cave.
A web designer can give you the best-looking forum but what he/she can’t give you is history, cumulative knowledge in this forum’s threads and class.
For those who are worried about the timing, I say it is better that these kind of disagreements have surfaced now while burstcoin is still relatively small and frankly dirt-cheap.

@LondonMP Im just suggest a Ethereum and Ethereum Classic kinda feud. But i highly doubt this would happen because it really just hurts everyone and does not benefit.
-
I have a feud with BurstNation, and all my pool wallets get attacked and shutdown? I'm going to be banning IP's and checking logs - if proof can be found of an attack, a complaint will be filed under the Computer Fraud and Abuse act.
-
@haitch Yeah I just noticed only certain pools forked
-
@haitch Did I just tell the future?
-
@crutsy Didn't fork - wallet attacked and crashed.
-
**We need to talk to each other this is kind of tit for tat thing and this is not going to help ANYONE.
Ban only happens when their some big attack happens that no admins can deal with its not kids play you dont like someone ban him crap burst is too old crypto pepol trust it coz its not new. and this behaviour of admins and mods takes them to that place where only they exist and no one else.
burstnation is too not doing this happens to me too lolzIt has brought to our attention that you are taking part in negative posting on forums about BURST Nation. Good luck with your asset, however it will not be advertized here.
(this is the message i got can someone from burstnation plz tell what negative post i did thats like you want only burstnation staff can post assets their ) thats also cool if you dont like ll not post there but that negative post thing i disliked.**
-
@dvndr007 And I'm the guy running the totalitarian regime? You're welcome to advertize your asset here.
You'll not get a response from BurstNation here unfortunately, due to my pools being attacked, the IP's of any admins/mods associated with BurstNation have been blocked at my router. I didn't want to do this, didn't want them to be able to whine that they couldn;t update this community because they were banned, but when my resources are being attacked I'll ban left right and center.
-
I'm tired. This used to be a happy forum with happy people, it's not anymore.
The community I love is falling apart.I don't say that only for Haitch but everyone attacking each other.
-
@Zeus nah, it's growing pains. It will be fine as soon as the other forum grows large enough. I still think the other forum was and is a great idea. It shows that we are growing a lot and now we have two communities. That can't be said about a lot of other coins out there.
-
@Zeus I don't want this crap. We used to be a community that got along really well. However some people seem to want to be seen in positions they've defined for themselves, and have split off when not given that respect. I've been personally attacked, my infrastructure has been attacked - DoS on the pool wallets.
I don't think the community is falling apart, I think a cult of personality has separated itself from these forums - it'll calm down and we'll go back to being the best place for people to learn Burst.
-
@haitch would you maybe consider sharing the responsibility with other admins on this forum to run the online wallets as well? so that if something happens to one location another can still be up and fill the demands... It would also lift some weight from you being the only one (as far as I know) taking care about this.
-
@vExact daWallet also has access to the online wallets - so US and Europe admins. We also moved them from two windows VM's to 4 individual Linux VM's - one per wallet. So they should be solid, and if there are issues someone is available to work on them.

Cool! Good to know that.
