"Syncing Local Wallet" Stuck @96%

I can not get the local wallet to work. I dowloaded the db.zip and put the contents in the db folder of the wallet many times but the local wallet will not start.
So I decided to let the wallet download the blockchain but now it is stuck 96% since hours.
What else can I do?

Do you have the last version of the AIO wallet? Supposing you are using it.

My version is 0.3.8.2

@Daforce maybe you have to restart to sync, @haitch can help you do download a coplete database so you don't have to wait days

@Daforce here you can find the last pre-release, which works better (at least from my experience) if you want to use your locl wallet. Once you download the database and unzip it in the db folder, you will probably will have to wait about 10 minutes or so to properly start the local wallet.

I would first try to close the client completely (also in tray) and start it again after some minutes - or even restart the computer and then open the client again.

@Daforce I just updated the db.zip - what happens when you use it ?

@daWallet I did all those steps already. I have now installed the new wallet, but it is still stuck. Now I try to download the DB but the transfer rate is very slow , sometimes it is ~200KB somtimes it is 2MB :(

@haitch When I click on "local wallet" the error html comes up, saying something like I should wipe the db

@Daforce Completely shutdown the AIO. Download and extract the db.zip into <your wallet>\burst_db. Restart the AIO, give it up to 10 minutes to start up.

The nature of the internet is nothing is 100% online; and sometimes its a firewall somewhere stopping us getting hacked. (even with false positives from time to time)
