Mining: The system cannot find the file specific

Make a directory in the system32 folder?
-
@Wolf No, the cmd pointed to system32, thats why you got the error ... because it was executed in wrong folder (why ever)
Try start cmd as admin, switch to jminer folder and execute the command from within run.bat
(I do not even know if run as admin will fix your issue)
-
@luxe OK I just ran the cmd as Admin navigated to the jminer folder the ran the run.bat file.
The jminer started with the same issue "The system cannot find the file specific"
-
@Wolf puhh i'm sorry, no idea ... you just display the folder there ... can you access the file? (no idea how to check that) have you tried 'chkdsk' to see if something wrong with the drive/file?
The error you get has nothing to do with jminer (i guess), java tries to read access this files, and the underlying operating system or hardware tells java, that it is not possible. Have you tried another miner, just to check if it is a general issue?
-
@luxe Note this is a new issue with update jminer 0.4.7. The jminer 0.4.5 didn't have this problem.
-
@Wolf well thats interesting ... contain to use 0.4.5 if it works well for you, not that big changes made ...
I currently do not see why the changes i made should cause this ... but thanks for the info.
Someone else has same issue with latest version?
-
Ok the issue fixed after I scanned all of my drives.
Thanks
