Haitchs Assets Asset ....

  • @RichBC Totally agree with stack of cards concern.

  • It is a very nice idea @haitch

  • @RichBC vary valid point, however anyone running this type of asset that wants it to be strong will hold a vary diverse portfolio of assets , personaly i try and keep my assets grouped by how they generate flow.. not by how much flow they generate.

  • @haitch said in Haitchs Assets Asset ....:

Apologies to Nameless, but I intend to make this the most massive asset on the Exchange.

Haha, i'm just happy that i managed to stimulate a wave of mergers and expansions that people were reluctant to make for some reason. With 402 all i want is to show people that BURST is more than capable of handling monster assets. Yours just strengthens my point.

Best of luck with your little baby! Me gusta mucho !

  • Here you go haitch so that your numbers are correct. Judging from current trading volumes and values an accurate estimation for the value of your assets are as follows. You have to look at demand rather that supply of assets. No use ASSUMING what you could get if you were to try to sell all your assets if there are no buyers. A more accurate evaluation lies with how many shares are people looking to purchase. Here are the actual estimations using the books as of this morning.

  • In OP it is first stated that 80% will be reinvested in assets, while afterwards it says 80% will be distributed to asset holders, so whats what?
Btw, I think these kinds of assets are out enough, so no value added (except liquifying your assets). It might also even have negative effects on the market (layer on layer on layer) just like @RichBC has stated.

But hey, its a free - crypto - world, greed = good, people only learn by mistakes.. so if these kinds of assets remain as populair, guess we'll just have to be shown not to.

  • as long as this kind of asset stays diversified it will be stable , you run into issues when you have multiple portfolio driven assets that invest heavy into each other and not much else.

@BurgerBaron 80% of the Burst obtained from selling the asset will be invested in additional assets for the asset.

Then 80% of the revenue generated by the portfolio of assets will be paid out to investors.

@haitch okay, assets have been transferred, and a quick scan of votes says you want this to be done now. However, because of the concerns of some people, I've decided on some changes to how it'll be released.

    1. 2M shares @ 100 Burst will be created.
    2. As I said in the original post, 20% of those will be transferred over to me as the maintenance fee.
    3. Of the remaining shares, 50% will be made available now
    4. None of those funds will be re-invested now.
    5. On Sunday March 5th, I'll release the income for the asset.
    6. If it appears that the asset was over/under valued, and I'll be taking input from investors on what they consider a fair valuation, I'll determine a new issue price, and if overvalued, I'll refund asset holders the difference between the initial buy price and the new price.
    7. The other 50% will be made available at the new price.
    8. The 80% of funds will then start investing in other assets.

Remember that the plan is to grow the asset base of this asset 5x, so initial dividend will be lower than anticipated going forward - keep that in mind when considering the valuation you give it in March.

The asset will be going up shortly, and I'll edit this post to include a link to the annoucement post.

  • @haitch darn, going to bed and I have 300k burst saved! Hope there is still some tomorrow morning.

@all - Life is too short to deal with the crap this created, so I'm shutting it down - at least for now.

I've cancelled the sell order, and put up a buy wall at original place + 5% bonus to cover people inconvenience.

@haitch, I think you are caving in too fast. You offered an asset. Some here criticized, questioned or commented on it. You made some adjustments. Bottom line, if you offer an asset with transparency then it is up to each individual whether or not they want to purchase it.

You should reconsider, if the asset is no good, no one will buy it, if it is good you will get a good response.

@rds I'll get the revenue data first, project income and growth, then reconsider. But for now people just cash out.

  • People wanted this asset released early knowing that he didn't have all the numbers drawn up yet. Then he does it and hes bombarded with negativity and nit picking.

This is the first time i have seen such negativity in my month in the Burst community. Hope to see the resurrection of this asset in the coming weeks

  • @haitch I am sad you have given up..I got a lot of crap when I made my coin but I never gave up but if you feel it's too much for you to handle right now you can always come back with it later on.. I will not let the in fighting in the BURST community make me take sides..I am going to stand by the WHOLE BURST FAMILY like a mother who loves all her kids, even when they fight and make mistakes.. :).. Together little or big, we can contribute positively to the BURST ECO system, that is most important to me :). Do what makes you feel comfortable for now and later re assess..

  • @haitch Putting aside the crap which is not acceptable, as one who has raised some questions, in the earlier thread, I think you are doing the right thing.

I have expressed my concerns over a very large Asset based purely on other Assets and still have those concerns. Please take your time to make available additional data on dividends and growth along with an outline Buy / Sell strategy. I also suggest you revisit the valuation.

However also please comment on what value a purely Asset based Asset has and in particular that some of the included Assets are themselves largely Asset based? We do not want to end up with a big circle of Assets each invested in each other.

    Thanks

    Rich

  • i remembered the last thread i posted about the assets but it is gone i assume cash out is to sell assets?

  • @ZapbuzZ You sell your assets now and Haitch is kindly giving 105 Burst per asset, giving us bonus of 5 burst for each share.

  • i'm a bit guttered what has happened @qibucks thanks for help

  • @ZapbuzZ I can empathize with you about this. Though I wouldn't worry about it too much. I'm confident the asset will be back and we will be able to invest in it.
