I just re-started plotting my second drive an external 8 tb drive for the 3rd time.
-
@ccminer I plotted 1.4 tb on my 2 tb E drive that plot was completed in first day. I am re-plotting my 8 tb D drive from scratch. Do you suggest I just use plotter in the wallet? Its just very slow.
-
@Lee93 The wallet plotter should be slower but it is 10000 times easier to use!
-
@ccminer Thanks
-
@Lee93 You are welcome!! happy plotting and mining mate!
-
You can restart interrupted plots if xplotter v1.0 was used. It's included in the latest Windows wallet as it's default plotter (https://sourceforge.net/projects/burstwindowswallet/). Which wallet version are you running?
-
@k.coins I am currently running Wallet V0.3.8.1. That would be wonderful. What are the commands used to re-start the plot?
-
Just wanted to bump this as restarting incomplete plots from xplotter is extremely helpful and I would like to know as well
-
@socal rather than just use -n 0 or no -n parameter at all to tell it to plot the whole drive, you have to specify the start nonce and number of nonces.
-
That's how to set it up yes but I meant recover from xplotter crashing/freezing, computer reatart or whatever it is that causes xplotter to stop and then restarting it where it left off before crashing
-
@socal to restart it you need to do what I said - specify the starting nonce and number of nonces, and it'll recover
-
Got it thanks
