@croydan1 yea, its the only chocolate mold i have atm, but i have an owl one on the way =D what i wanna do is get a frog choc mold and make it into choc covered caramels so the inside is gooey after you bite into the frog >~>
-
You should find someone with a 3D printer and get them to print out the burst logo
get some food grade epoxy and create a Burst chocolate mold ,
i think that would be pretty awesome
-
@Luke1219 i currently have a cookie stamp being made with the burst logo :P

Just saw this post. I'm a professional chef. Do you have a commercial kitchen to do this out of? Do you have your food handlers license?
-
@neatcrypto.com i use my own kitchen, and i will have the food handlers license before i start it.
-
@Roses Great. If you need any help let me know.
-
@neatcrypto.com Thanks! And thank you for bringing up the very valid point of a food handlers license :)
-
Looks like this might be bust guys, according to @neatcrypto.com i would need a commercial kitchen to be able to legally do this.
-
@Roses I sold and shipped Salsa without a license. You're selling baked goods and candy - I don't see where the cross contamination comes from. Sell your stuff, if some individual wants to give you grief, I'll have your back.
-
@haitch his worry seemed to be the state health inspectors or w/e
-
@Roses Peoples choice. I sold salsa, you can sell candies/cookies. There is no cross contamination risk. Selling home baked goods shouldn't be an issue, Ever seen a kids lemonade stand being prosecuted ?
-
@haitch so you think its still doable? =D
-
@Roses plus any backed goods sold at any event to raise money does not require any kind of commercial kitchen that's just my 2 cents :)
-
@croydan1 good point o-o
-
@croydan1 Baked jeez bad spelling on my part
-
@BurgerBaron i would lve to make the burst cookies here in Europe at least train me :)
-
i can smell them from here!
-
@haitch Funny you mention that...

@Roses Laws in the states can be pretty ridiculous when it comes to food. However, you could simply not charge anything for your food items and employ an honor system instead. Just send them out to people who want them and if the items are good, then perhaps those people decide to donate to you for reasons that have nothing to do with food or maybe they don't. If you decide to expand and actually employ people or run it like a business, then it would probably be prudent to get a proper license and inspection and what not.

Montana has a "cottage food law", i can get a permit easily!!! We can do this guys =D
