Infographic at the asset exchange section inside the wallet

Hi guys, I was thinking the other day that it would be really nice if at the asset exchange tab in the wallet we could have a kind of graphic for the performance of ant given asset value in the market :) You know data visualization say much more than number always. How complicated could be to implement something like this?
-
@vExact I don't have a clue about how complicated will be but i know there's something in the works for this feature ;D

Good to know @gpedro!

@ccminer He meant graphs in the AE on the wallet ;D
But those are really appreciated tbh... i love them xD
-
@gpedro I understood!
-
@ccminer What about some kind of price-to-earnings ratio in future...would that be possible?
-
-
@AndrewDD What do you mean? The issuer put shares on the market according with the payout ROI average?
-
@ccminer I was thinking in general, with yours I imagine it would be a little more difficult at present because you are still funding. I will see if I can play with the data available and come up with some performance charting..
-
@AndrewDD I see, well my data are quite detailed and updated every day already
-
@AndrewDD @ccminer You can always build your graphs in a external site having the wallet for API calls with the wallet to access the blockchain info ;D
Like @lithstud and @jervis have in their rimvis webpage... I am not sure but i think Rimvis is another API that already have some graphs created, idk if you are able to create the graph you want or just the kind of graphs they have available but i guess you can do the same that rimvis does to show the graph equation you want if you have the skills ;D
I personally don't have that skills but yeah xD
-
@gpedro My graphs are produced by a python script I wrote.
I think that pubblish on the thread every day is more than enough
-
@ccminer They are if you want just people around here investing but those graphs can be used as material to promote the asset and at the same time attract people to BURST xD
-
@gpedro you can get all the images I post on IMGUR here http://robthebot.imgur.com/all/
and use them to promote if you want.
All the images are published online!

Something like that would we great. But it could maybe be asking too much, I don't know... perhaps for another version? ;) I mean something like the value of the asset in Burst vs a temporal line since the asset was created, somehow a plot representing its value in the market.

competely agree @gpedro
-
@ccminer Absolutely, the data you provide is completely on-target and very appreciated, what I am talking about is creating a standardized performance based indicator (like price-to-earnings) where all Assets can be compared in the end. I will play around with some ideas and then get back to you...
-
@AndrewDD sure let me know ;)
-
@gpedro What I meant was a standarized comparison tool in the end...nothing to do with the issue price. if you take for example the price of ccminer at 10 Burst per share and then determine on a weekly or monthly basis what that 10 BURST invested per share is earning, there you have the price to earning ratio. You can use this ratio then to evaluate all of the mining Assets and determine which one has the most "bang for the buck". Of course it is not the final decision-maker on whether or not to invest, but it is helpful for evaluation and performance tracking.
-
@AndrewDD that would great as well. Something else that could be added and it would improve by a lot the design of the wallet is a pie chart or similar in the section "my assets", a visual way to see at a glance your investment portfolio. The same can apply for Asset Issuers, so that they keep better track of everything :)
