Am plotting at the moment and will start mining later. Any advice is welcome.

@2nd4thdegree Yes you will want to switch pools. There is a list out there somewhere that states the limits on most.
-
Sorry, I changed my post in the meanwhile, let's say I buy an external of 1TB, it will add to my current 0.8 and I won't be mining with two "accounts" (don't know how to put it), since I'm using two HDD? In my pool some names are there twice or trice, they must be using multiple computers or phones then?
-
@2nd4thdegree As long as you paste your Address in and use the Same Address to Tag the Plot with you will be on the same Pool when you mine. Different wallet addresses would be able to mine separately but there is no real benefit there unless you have huge drives and want to average a payout across pools. You will tend to hit more pay with larger plots so either way it will be about the same outcome or minimal difference in the long run. Especially if using small storage for plots.
So I would just make them both the same and go to another pool. Just have to pick the right one because some are 10TB minimum and you will never find a deadline on those. Let me see if I can find the pool for less than 10...
-
Is there anywhere I can see how much I mined in total of all the blocks mined already or will I only know on payout and when does payout happen?
-
user "yey" has the grand share a lot of times in our pool, he/she's one lucky miner.
-
@2nd4thdegree You will get a payout at 300+ coins or if you leave the pool it will send less than 300 in a day.
Here is a list of all the pools:
http://util.burst-team.us:8888/pool
Don't mine on Burst.Ninja until you are over 20TB Deadline limit is suited for large capacity.
Burst-Team.us need to be over 10TB and Burstmining.club over 5TBSo any of the other pools you can mine with less TB I am pretty sure.
-
I once was lucky and had 50% share of the block and my reward was 691 or so, does that mean I will receive two payouts of 300?
-
@2nd4thdegree No you get paid on that right away. It is only when your shares are less than 300 that it adds them up to pay later or eventually out at 300+
-
Ok, so when it says the reward is like 500, that means 500 burst. and 10000 burst is worth around 6$ now. I see. I've been mining for two hours now and this 50% share was somewhere in the beginning but I did not receive anything in my wallet yet, is that normal?
-
@2nd4thdegree No, not normal, it should show up in a few blocks. It will pend as unconfirmed first but will be listed in the transactions screen.
-
I have to say, I'm looking at my online wallet, and my local wallet, the blockchain is still downloading there. Might this be the problem? I got some burst from faucet in my online wallet though, those were there immediately.
-
@2nd4thdegree Yes go to the Online Wallet and it will be there. The Local wallet takes forever to download. There is a ZIP file somewhere you can use to speed up that process if you want the local wallet quicker. But sometimes it gets stuck and you may have to do this anyways if you want the local wallet.
Check the online wallet I am sure it will be sufficient for now...
-
It says 17 burst and those I got from faucet. Nothing else there :(
-
@2nd4thdegree What pool were you mining? Did you use the right wallet address? If you add a space or any other letter to your wallet passphrase it will open a new Wallet. Do you think you could have had a mistype?
-
I'm mining at m.burst4all.com and when I click on my name there in the list on the site of the pool the address seems correct to the one of my wallet. I just received burst again from a faucet to this wallet and it works.
-
@2nd4thdegree You will not get any payout until the Pool hits a Block, shares shown up until that point are just your potential share representing the contribution you have made.
What is your user name on the Pool?
Rich
-
No payment from the pool until now, on the site of the pool it also says 0 under "total earned", the name of my wallet is David Willaert, you can see mee mining here: m.burst4all.com, my name is on the list.
-
But I participated in many blocks until now and I had rewards already, I'm mentioned in the "historic block share" but total earned says 0.
My name: David Willaert
pool: m.burst4all.com
-
@2nd4thdegree Ok so you are showing zero. That is zero Deferred and Zero paid.
You have 94 as the reward you will get when a Block is hit, however this will not be paid until you Total 300 or if the Pool does a 24 Hour Payout, remember that the Mobile Pool hits very few Blocks so payouts are rare.
If you want to see things happen more quickly go to one of the other Pools that cater for smaller Miners.

there are quite a few blocks done already over there since I began mining this morning, once I had a share of 1000, once 691, maybe the pool pays out every 24 hours, I believe this must be the case, at least I hope so.
