Mining Pools
-
Just starting in mining burstcoin and want to know the best pool for me to join (10TB setup)
-
@George.L Skip ninja.burst, the rest should be okay for you.
-
ive been plotting for about 6 hours and its only done 2% is there something wrong or something i can do to speed it up
-
What kind of graphics card do you have? If it's reasonable try using the GPU plotter
-
@weaveR i am using the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960, how do i use GPU plotter
-
@George.L Download it from http://burstcoin.biz/download/5-gpu-plot-generator-(win-x64) first then you have to find your numeric burst address on the wallet program then run the command gpuPlotGenerator generate buffer <path to drive to plot><your numeric burst address><start nounce number>_<number of nounces to plot>_20000.
Haitch will probably tell you to plot using direct mode so your plots are optimized but I've personally had problems with plotting using that mode.
-
@weaver wow thanks a lot, really appreciate it. But holy shit is that hard, u must have realised by now i'm not the best with computers, haha
-
@weaveR how do i run the command gpu plot generator
-
@George.L Right click the folder you extracted the gpu plotter to while holding down shift then go to open command window here then enter the command above.
-
@George.L For example I've run the command gpuPlotGenerator generate buffer E:\Burst\plots\153808234784360314_622880002_7640000_20000 recently 6 TB would be 22880000 nounces
-
@weaver so sorry but i dont understand any of that i dont think im doing the right things. Is there a simplified way for me to understand it or a way for you to do it for me ? That would be extremely helpful
-
@weaveR i didnt extract a folder, when i downloaded the software off the link you gave me it is document on notepad...
-
@George-L First of all, here is a list of possible tools. If you use the GPU Plotter:
weaveR example (I adding numbers to split the tutorial):
gpuPlotGenerator generate buffer 1)E:\Burst\plots\ 2)153808234784360314_3)622880002_4)7640000_20000 recently 6 TB would be 22880000 nounces[buffer/direct]
1)Path where you want to save your plot
2)Your numeric account iD
3)Your start nonce
4)How many nonce you want to add Calc. Tool, your next nonce can be for example 622880002+7640000 = 630520002 + 1 = next start nonce
5)Your RAM-CalcHope it helps, best regards
