Android Wallet & Miner
-
I am creating a new thread to announce new releases of the Android project now that we are in production with the Wallet, Plotter and Miner. I will provide the details of each update here in greater depth that the Google Play store allows me to. With that I an announcing the release of:
Release v2.1.0
New Features:
- First User Preference : Enable or Disable audio notification for a deadline, by default it is off
Update:
- Migration to http://m.burst4all.com so that as Android User we get our bonus for supporting the distribution of burst across many platforms and devices. See this thread for full details: https://forums.burst-team.us/topic/3040/burst4all-asset-release There is no need to update reward assignment (so no cost or time lapse required)
Bug Fixes:
- Properly release a memory stack we had in the miner
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays
-IceBurst

For those who are having issues today with the pool you are mining on:
Android users - Please update to 2.1.0 in the play store and all will be normal again
Computer users - Please set your reward assignment to BURST-R4RF-K8C2-V69V-BQYQZ and use pool.burst4all.com
NB: All miners over 1TB mining on the mobile pool will have their IPs blocked on that pool. Out of respect guys, let's leave the mobile pool to the mobile/android box/raspberry Pi users

First Bonus going out to Mobile miners as we speak. Merry Xmas !!

Guess Santa wasn't finished, another bonus went out.
thanks a lot! Happy New Year!
-
@Focus Thanks for the Bonus, but can you explain how it works for the smaller Miners, given that when a block is hit the 100TB+ of the big 2 Miners is going to gobble everything up?

I don't understand. They use 2 different pools.
-
@Focus I don't understand either..... There are two Big Miners on pool.burst4all.com and two small miners, perhaps you can explain?
Rich
-
@RichBC The pigg miners are on pool.burst4all.com, mobile miners with the updated software are on m.burst4all.com
-
@haitch Duh I see the m now, will switch Pools......

To all those developing and contributing to this project - great job!
And thanks for the bonuses! I've had a lot of fun learning about burst and trying to get the mobile wallet/mining platform to perform well for me. The way things are going now, it's going to be a breeze to run these types of setups in the near future.
Much appreciation to you all,
-K

@Focus There seem to be some other users using blago etc. I'm guessing that implies they are not mobile miners? But since they're not high capacity, probably not a big deal anyways.
On another note, thanks for all the work on this guys! Been meaning to mobile mine for a while and only just got out an old android phone to give it a shot - plotting as i type:) Cheers!

Much appreciation to you all,
-KAs long as they are under 1TB, and when they do mine a block it trickles down to all the miners
-
In the holiday spirit, I thought I would toss over some coins for a bonus! 3000 BURST sent!
Keep your mining hands strong!
-
@AdamGuerbuez Wow... that's dope man! Thanks! And happy holidays!
Probably put it down on some of these burst4all asset shares...

Mine is not Android and is one of the Blago Miners. However it's a little different. I have a poor internet at Home so it' running with a Remote Desktop at another location. Have just remote plotted 50 x 20GB files and uploaded them to an Amazon Cloud Drive, where they are being Mined.
If people are not happy with this let me know and I will take it down.

@AdamGuerbuez Thanks man! Though my plot hasn't finished yet so no bonus for me:( Happy Holidays anyways everyone!
-
@RichBC No problem man - it's all good. Like @focus said, as long as it's under 1TB it should be fine:)
-
so @crowetic decided to drop a little bonus as well, enjoy guys
