I do have pool selection on my list and development work has started there. Due to some lacking features in the previous NXT I've been working with somet guys on ways to link pools to reward IDs and it's not as easy as one would hope but I'll either get there or hard code tons of pools for your enjoyment. Don;t worry, we will will allow you to chose from a plethera of pools in the near future.

@iceburst do you mean determining the pool a miner has their reward set to? Then :
http://localhost:8125/burst?requestType=getRewardRecipient&account=BURST-ACGB-YGHQ-G9ZL-5XD7U=> "rewardRecipient":"11894018496043975481","requestProcessingTime":0}
http://localhost:8125/burst?requestType=getAccount&account=11894018496043975481
=> {"unconfirmedBalanceNQT":"2653601026807","guaranteedBalanceNQT":"2653601026807","effectiveBalanceNXT":2653601026807,"accountRS":"BURST-32TT-TSAC-HTKW-CC26C","name":"Burst-Team Pool","forgedBalanceNQT":"4903001811504229","balanceNQT":"2653601026807","publicKey":"01819849112da18b881e64d04f832bf27fb12bd258908e96e600070eba076028","requestProcessingTime":0,"account":"11894018496043975481"}
If not, care to elaborate on what you're after ?
Absolutley, It's about reading the block chain to find all available pools, that's easy but there is no connection between where nonces should be submitted (URL) and the pools reward assignment. I talked at length with another DEV after we looked at util.burst-team.us, initially I thought it was an easy problem to solve but after investigation it's not so easy. You have to be able to link Pool Name, RewardID, and URL all together and that's where the magic needs to happen.

hi, i have problems with plotting and/or mining burst with my Samsung Galaxy J3 (2016) / Android 5.1.1
i try to plot ----> IO exception
plotting files on pc and copy to Samsung Galaxy J3 (2016)\Card\Android\data\burstcoin.com.burst\files (numericAccId_0_4096_1) ------> but the App says No Plot Fileswhat can i do?
-
I used this app on my xperia z5 premium its neither ploting completely neither mining please update it asap its not working over here I tried many times~ thankyou
-
@IceBurst yeah, linking pool to URL is the headache. Perhaps an online DB of well known pools, and if the pool is not a kown one prompting for the url ?
-
@IceBurst @haitch it would be ideal if all the pools set their burst name as the address users need to set on their miner.
then you could just use that API and get the pools for the miner that way (this somewhat also standardizes pool setups and removes the need for an online db and keeps it decentralized).
-
@evolver have you tried I put the plot on the internal memory? Just to see what happens. I have a device that only recognizes the plots if their in the root directory

Another one bites the dust. Congrats Yey-Tiny on that block

@IceBurst is the io exception error fix for Android 5.1
-
@IceBurst Hi now ive plotted my sd card on my tablet but when i want to use it on my mobile it cant find the plots
-
@ing40n I'm not sure this will fix it but it's worth a try - check what folder the plots are in. If they are in the burst files folder, then try to move them to a root directory. If they are in a root directory, try to move them to the burst folder. Things seem to work differently on different devices
-
@k.coins i downloaded file manager and the plots are in the Burst files but i cant find the root directory

ard on my tablet but when i want to
The plots are stored in different locations based upon the version of Android, older versions had direct access to the SDCard, newer versions require the files to be sand boxed into the specific application data folders.
Hope This Helps,
