BURST Mining Asset Comparison
-
I have created a comparison spreadsheet of the large mining operations currently available for purchase. As well as a feeler for how my asset would look if I decide to share some of my current mining.

Please let me know if you have any comments, suggestions, or of course notice any mistakes :)

@superskid Interesting, would be good to add ccminer_100TB to the comparison.

@RichBC It's the second one listed.
-
@superskid the data are wrong
-
cough RapidM cough
-
@ccminer Please point out what is wrong
-
1 NAME OF THE ASSET
2 UNITS ISSUED (YOU CALL ASSETS)
3 TOTAL TBThe others I have not checked, but everything keep changing quite fast so your comparison it will be always out of date if you don't update it every let's say 30 minutes
-
@ccminer Those are irrelevant if you look at the comments. Each parcel you offer is a 10TB parcel so to calculate the cost per TB to an investor (which is what matters) I only need to put in one offering.
Updating live as you add TB will just come out to the same number when you divide it down to TB
-
@ccminer The only time it needs to be updated is a drastic swing in BTC or Burst price, otherwise like my above comment, if new shares are releases as new TB are added the calculation is identical.
As for technical terms used in the spreadsheet....to each their own
-
@rapidfireman Your asset is way to small for me to consider adding, you also have random incomes that you are throwing into it.
-
@superskid It's small mining wise, but the amount of people into it makes it equal.

Duh...it was the 10TB that threw me as it's now 70TB, however as you say the comparison numbers are still correct.
I think the issue for me is not just the price / TB but what differentiates your mining asset from the rest and how are you going to spend the Burst you receive?
ccminer has used the money to build the asset & O.G. Burst Gadget is planning on investing the BTC into Burst. What would differentiate your mining asset and what are your plans for our money?

My plans would be maximizing ROI for the investor, to do that they can buy mining power from me cheaper than anyone and I will have MUCH faster read speeds as I have spent that money building a massive SAS Expander network instead of bottle necking through USB daisy chains.
This isn't meant to make people choose 1 over the other. But cost per TB should just be one step when deciding where to invest, this just makes that one step easier. MUCH more to consider. Yours looks like the clear winner right now though.

Yes I think important although I have as yet not managed to quantify the value of a fast read. I ditched USB early on as the more you add the slower it goes. As a matter of interest what is your read time, mine at the moment for 75TB is 10 Seconds.

Well this was an interesting read and if your selling, I'm buying I did see a post from you suggesting you'd half and then some a certain certain asset, If this is the case Wed be stupid not to chip in tell me where this goes
-
@dagentlemang I am pretty sure I will do it soon, here is my challenge. I am constantly adding to my miner, anywhere between 4 and 8TB a day. So to calculate what percentage of earnings my investors have would be a daily math exercise. What I think I will have to do is create a new account, start plotting under a new account and then I can asset off a percentage of everything on my old account without all the crazy calculations.
Unless someone has a better idea? My current miner can hold about 20 more 4TB drives before it will be maxed out so should be 10 days or so. HOLD OUT IT WILL BE WORTH IT :)
-
I have updated CC Miner, it is actually worse than projected because the 60,000 units are released before the next 10TB are mining online. Updated to reflect actuals.
-
I have decided to go ahead and release 82TB of my miner that is on it's own account:
