Looking into getting a BULK order of hard drives shipped from china
-
Hey all My brother is in china and i am having him look into what he can get hard drives for over there and see if it will be cheaper to have him buy a bulk order and ship it here
-
They cost approximately the same if you include shipping costs. Unless by bulk you mean by the truckload.
Plus its hard to claim warranty
-
@Njcfamily31907 It was a costly lesson I learned.
I purchase almost everything online, EXCEPT hard drives, I pay more for local suppliers to have a warranty.
-
ok thats good to know
-
not sure on HDD's but beware china advertised products ... esp flash drives / SD cards .. pay for a 100gb and you might get a 10gb labled as a 100
-
If anyone is interested they can PM me, I will sell bulk orders of 4TB or larger drives for $30USD per TB, plus shipping from Canada.
-
@superskid what sort of drives are you selling? Brand/Make/Model
-
@kohai Western Digital Blue

Watch the prices here I'm not undercutting nor I'm I saying these are good or bad just take second and Shop around what a Tb is valued at these days I'm looking in the, 25$ cad range used 30$ for new
Depending on the usage would I want to pay for the half used drives? Something to consider
