is internet needed in plotting?

so im plotting 8tb and my internet got cut about halfway for 12 hours, now i noticed that its still plotting without internet. im concerned that i need to start over due to internet loss or is that even used in the plotting process?

What are the differents parameters that i will do check ?

@Neo38 Any connection will be fine, very little data is transferred. I often have <1 Mb/s
