Burst not going anywhere at / for 3 hours
-
Hmm sounds like something getting stuck. @Njcfamily31907 since your works there might be fork involved can you check for block numbers between yours and everybodys else?
-
checking now
-
ohh you mean pool block
lol
all pools on the same block and me and
wallet.burst-team.us are synced up
-
Strange then. Well i guess we will need someone else ro explain this network delay o_O
-
Hey guys,
it resolved itself?
Which block was it? Was it just a very long block?
-
@daWallet doesn't seem to be a single block, it's happening to me again, I been waiting for some transactions since 4am and it's now 4:37am, still say / for sent and received transactions.
@Njcfamily31907 not sure if it's a good idea to recommend your wallet, it doesn't use SSL (https).
-
I have been waiting for transaction since 11pm eastern. Whats the hold up man?
-
@Maddog22 same i have a transaction with \ \ for confirmation that i put in around 11pm est
-
@Gibsalot I have the same thing as a confirmation. this is crazy..
-
mine is for an asset .... what sucks is 3 people bought up all the asset at the price i wanted an hour after i put in my buy order ... mine never went throu and when i go into my open orders it's listed but i cant even cancel it .. it has a \ in the cancel area
-
Sounds like one or more orphaned blocks. This happens if you make a transaction on the chain but later the network decides that another chain is longer/stronger. The chain you made your transactions is not valid then. No Coins are lost but your transaction has not gone through.
Do you know which block this happened? Maybe a big pool went offline at exactly that moment. If we understand the cause, we can work to make this annoying situation less probable.
-
looks like block 302840 ... if im reading it right
-
idk ... thats the block listed in for the transaction in my wallet but the time stamp on that block is completly differant than the time stamp on my end transaction id is 311479311978165049
... at this point i just wish it would let me hit the cancel button like normal under the open order's tab so i can have my burst back.
-
@daWallet I don't know exactly but I have many many transactions stuck since 4 am until now (8:24 am) and they are all at "Unconfirmed Transaction". Do you have any news on this? is there a way to solve it? Like 2 times, the transactions appeared as 10+ confirmations for some seconds, and then they get back to unconfirmed :-/
When I search all of them in Burstcoin.biz, it says "Unrecognized search pattern".
-
Update: I sent 2 50k burst transactions last night around 7pm CST and they are still at / I am really getting annoyed and had no idea this could happen. A really huge inconvenience for me, maybe I'll just move back to bitcoin if I can ever get my burst back.....
-
@Zeus Those unconfirmed are from the whole network. First one is 12/6/2016 07:47:43
-
@Zeus Yep I'm getting the same error as well after 12 hours
-
@all - all my accounts are showing payments from pools, one has a subscription payment, and a test payment I just did went through without issue. it seems the blockchain is working properly - could the stuck transactions happened on a forked wallet ? And if they did - they'll time out and be reversed, no one has lost anything.
-
@haitch Alright good to hear, do you have any idea on when they should time out?
-
@davidh888 I'm not sure on the exact timing - I believe it's a couple of days.
