OVERLAPPING
-
is this warning not beneficial for my plots and mining? i got 2 HD..
but when i check my name on the pool it is now combined capacity.
Thanks People in advance! :D
-
Drive F needs to be plotted with a starting nonce of 1896001 not 1888257
drive E file contains all nonces from 0 - 1896000 so you need to start the next file with 1896001
-
@Njcfamily31907 ow.. i see. but it when i see it in the pool it is sum capacity of two drives.
-
@xmagmax yea it will but you will end up losing in the long run because you will end up submitting double DL's for every nonce that is overlapped
-
@Njcfamily31907 i see. Thanks pal. I didnt see the nonces end. I just copy and add 1 on the last command of the gpu plotter. Im wondering why it adjust its nonces number.
-
@xmagmax It's a very little overplot. Less then 2 GB of wasted space, so 0.2% of your two hdds. Replotting isn't worth it.
-
@Dario's-wallet i see. I taught the whole plot overlap. Thanks dude. :)
-
I am getting similar error. I don't have any options but to plot this drive in my burst interface. How do you fix this problem?
-
I try to advoid overlap completely by just replotting
-
@CrazyMiner i check the last plot nonces number of the drive.. then add 1 to the plot name.
Ex.
if you start at 9548912921831795530_0_1896000_12000the next drive should be plot like this..
9548912921831795530_1896001_1896000_12000meaning the first plot is from 0 to 1896000 nonces
the 2nd plot is from 1896001 to 1896001 + 1896000 = 3792001 noncesif you plot another drive... just continue
9548912921831795530_3792002_1896000_12000
so the 3rd drive would be from 3792002 to 3792002 +1896000 = 5688002 noncesand so on. :D
#remember tyhe 1896000 is the stagger size or the nonces of the certain space of the Drive
you can also check the name of the plot after certain percentage..
if the file name overlaps.. adjust the plotter :DHere is a good program for calculating nonces

-
@xmagmax You don't need to add the 1. starting at 0 and plotting 1,896,000 nonces, the last nonce plotted will be 1,895,999
-
@haitch hahaha. Okay. I just add 1 for safety of overplotting. Haha
