issue with reward recipient.
-
So after losing my first wallet by accident I had to create a new one. I changed the reward recipient to my newest address of BURST-EWT3-ZTYD-9JSU-CQLV7 or BlueishGore852 but when I have been mining on burst.ninja it is still mining on my old account of BlueishGore851. Anyone know how to fix this as I have waited about a 2 days and it has not changed over yet.
-
burst.ninja still pay historical part to your old address.
-
@Blago But I have not seen my new account of BlueishGore852 on the website showing that I am mining.
-
@mathew which miner do you use?
if Blago's - send me your last log from "Logs" folder.
blagodarenko@gmail.com
-
@Blago I am currently using the Burst Client for Windows.
-
ok, send me last log from %AppData%\Roaming\BurstWallet\miner-burst-1.160610\Logs
-
@Blago Couldnt upload the data to pastebin so I uploaded the log to mega

@mathew you mining with your old plots! 18008863671166698949_......
for new address you need replot all files for your new account ID
-
@Blago ughhh never knew you had to replot... that sucks

for new address you need replot all files for your new account IDWell Well I just learned something here. So the plots are married to a particular account and are fixed? Is that correct?
-
@abooluqmaan ya I think so which I never though about. Welp this sucks as now I have to replot 40tb...
-
@mathew Guys, I recommend you to write down your passphrase on paper or print it out. This is the safest way!
-
@abooluqmaan yes, thats why the numericAccountId is also in the filename of plots ... it is logic, if you think about ... else you could mine same plotfile with multiple accounts.

It works for me. Just trying to understand how things roll here. It's all good!
Have a magnificent day on PURPOSE!
BTW I'm in. It took me 27 hours to plot a 931G drive but I did it. Now working on the 2nd one.
-
So after re-plotting my hard drive and changing the reward recipient, it still shows that I am mining on my old account and not my new one. Old name is BlueishGore851 and my new account is BlueishGore852. And I have waited way more than 4 blocks for it to submit but it wont change it.

Who is 'it' ? The pool webpage? your old account disappears there if it is paid out, the new will show up after first commits.
-
@luxe Yes the website shows my old account but I changed my reward recipient to my new account about a day ago and burst.ninja has not shown my new account
-
But miner is committing without error? So you just wonder why you not show up at pool?
Are you finding deadlines? No idea what is the criteria for pool software to show miners sry.
-
@mathew It still shows your old account mining - are you sure you replotted with the new pass-phrase, and deleted all your old plots ? The only way it can show you plotting now is using the plots from the old account.
-
@haitch I will replot again to make sure but almost 100% sure that I used my new password
-
@haitch I would just delete the file in E:\Burst\plots where E is my external hard drive correct?
