Miners need!! I Will Pay For The Reward Assignment.

@Tate-A said in Miners need!! I Will Pay For The Reward Assignment.:
Hi. So I updated the server, well that was not a good thing to do. The update was supposed to be bug fixes and security updates. Well it screwed up the whole system, I can't even get terminal open from the keyboard shortcut. Now I'm going to have to reinstall the OS. I was able to virtually login, and I got the pool running. Your miner will go down for less than 5 minutes, when I do the HDD swap. From the virtual login it appears that a bunch of Important files are missing. :-l
Hope will be resolved soon. I will redirect my miner to the pool again once it's back to live.

@bitko Okay were back up! The only thing I might have to do later to night is reboot, after installing some software. I'm so so sorry!! I'm glad you guys stuck with us through that tribulation! I'm also sorry it took longer then expected. :-)
We are now running Ubuntu 16.04 LTS

@Tate-A Hey, I noticed that the amount of burst in your pool Wallet doesnt grow! Whys it stuck in 6100? Shouldnt it grow when we mine Burst?
-
@theoneandonely we have not won a block to earn burst ... sucks to cause i hit a 2:16 deadline this morning and got beat buy a 1 min deadline :(

Hi, there. We only earn Burst when we find a block. And the 6,100+ Burst I sent to the pool from my wallet.
-
@Tate-A Wait, so all the mining we do right now is worthless? Only when we hit a block we get the amount of burst from that block?
-
@theoneandonely ummm .... yes and no ..... if someone in the pool wins a block then no your historic shares on the previos blocks still count for the historic cut ... but at the same time we are few .. and have vary small total TB's betwen us so the chances of someone in the pool wining a block are much smaller at the moment .. we need more people to join the pool make the pool have a total combined mining power higher. to win blocks more oftain
-
@theoneandonely No, Is not worthless. Keeping your miner running helps us find a block, when we find a block you will get paid for your share. The pool combines all of the miner(s) THs, so we can find a block faster then if you where solo mining. Then it will pay all the miner(s) for there shares, 80% of the block go's to the miner share, and 20% to the miner that found the block.
-
on a Uray pool like this can you see how many TB's are mining on the pool ?

No, I wish I could Implement this in to the site. It would be nice.

we need to get more miners on the pool , suck's because this is not the only pool that needs miners at the moment there are 3 or 4 other pools with less than 20 miners and having trouble finding blocks. infact the pool i have the most stake in assest wise pool.burstcoinmining.com currently has no one mining on it even the operator is mining on another pool with his miner because he could not attract any new miner's.

You're correct @Gibsalot. If we cannot attract more miners to join, this pool will definitely "by nature" collapse. My plan was keeping my miner in this pool till I can see more miners coming in. But dunno the future, I'm also not sure till when I can stay here if we can't get more miners.
@Tate-A has been doing many things to attract miners, even he's giving bonuses, more shares percentage, reimbursement of reward assignment, giving away 50 shares of pool assets, and so on. It's a great and generous thing so far, but market is a market with its own unpredictable movement. Sometimes we're not able to obtain our vision, but give up in this situation is really not a good choice.
