About exchanges - Beginner questions

Hi,

This are beginner questions, sorry for being too basic.

1. Is BTC accepted intermediate currency to crypto currency. For example I assume i need BTC to buy bursts and when I do sell them, I get BTC in return.
2. Is there any way I can buy bursts with USD and vice versa, if so can you please point me to that link.

Good to know! Now when I actually have enough to convert in to actual fiat I know where to go. Unless I need photo ID and all that ...

you always may convert BURST => btc => fiat

@Blago i work in this way, buy burst with bitcon in www.poloniex.com,... when i need money €,... change again to bitcoin and them send the coins to www.xapo.com... and withraw "XAPO DEBIT CARD" in euros in any ATM system :)

@gordon Your miner is running properly, but I'm guessing you havea tiny plot file - you're mining in 1 second or less. How big a plot did you do ?

if let say i merely have total disk of 1TB, 800gb++ is free now.. if i use 500GB to mine.. will that affect my PC normal performance or will that HARM MY PC?

@gordon - No, no impact on the PC - burst will utilize your CPU for about 15 seconds on average every 4 minutes. The disk is being read, not written while mining so basically no deterioration of the drive. Just disk reading, no harm.

@gordon - I wouldn't use all the space, but you can use the majority of it. I have a miner with 60TB of storage, and it's totally usable.
