zcash mining woot!
-
@HiDevin LOL yeah i heared you although idk if that is a really good card or not because idk nothing about PoW coins... absolutely nothing! That was the reason i said i was just mining for fun because i am mining with my 2CPU's and 2GPU's but i am supposetly mining like 0.2$ worth per day... i don't have a gaming PC neither i ever invested in GPU's so idk nothing about this matter xD
Although it is a really big increment from 20 to 120H/s. and to me it raised one of my GPU's from 1H/s to 1,7h/s so it was a good difference too!
So again thanks for letting me know about this release! Hahaha
-
well my GPU at first had ~10 h/s with current miner its ~55 h/s :D too bad zec no longer = 1btc :D
-
@LithStud too bad man
-
@gpedro np but like 20 to 120h/s its a lot for me it makes zec more profitable to mine than eth with my card :D
-
@HiDevin I guess LOL
-
@gpedro woot 6.0 came out 130 h/s now lol
edit: 140 h/s
-
@HiDevin link please (?)
-
-
@jervis also do -i 4 for best mining :P
-
@HiDevin -i 4 is a default setting :)
-
@LithStud ik people might copy their previous config with -i 2 from last update + i only gave them direct download link not forum post.
-
@HiDevin ah right :) i allways used whatever it recomends :) tried once -t 2 and that crashed my whole system :D
-
@LithStud dang really? well lets say this as good measures ( slow systems 0-1 intensity )
( fast system 2-4 intensity ) o-o
-
@HiDevin well since i have R9 270x i dont really need to do anything as Claymore has optimized his miners to these cards :D not to mention i am using this same computer for my coding or youtube :) or whatever else xD
But to think we started with ~16-18 H/s :D and now i get 67 H/s :D
-
@LithStud thats pretty good, when i started this post i was mining with 20 h/s on my rx480 with claymore's 2.0 version now im mining 140 h/s :D with his 6.0 version
-
@HiDevin Downloading... Thanks for the update xD
-
@LithStud to remind myself i did -nofee 1 and only lossed 10 h/s ( i dont recommend this because claymore is a great miner maker :P ) but 10 h/s this is his OP
-nofee: set "1" to cancel my developer fee at all. In this mode some recent optimizations are disabled so mining speed will be slower by about 5%.
By enabling this mode, I will lose 100% of my earnings, you will lose only 2.5% of your earnings.
So you have a choice: "fastest miner" or "completely free miner but a bit slower".
If you want both "fastest" and "completely free" you should find some other miner that meets your requirements, just don't use this miner instead of claiming that I need
to cancel/reduce developer fee, saying that 2.5% developer fee is too much for this miner and so on.
-
@HiDevin well i was mining from the very lauch day of zec :Dif pool wouldnt been constantly under DDoS attack i would of gotten some sweet $ :D but such is life :D nomatter how i look at it it helped me establish myself a bit better in crypto using what is considered a subpar equipement :) i dont even have second card :D
-
@LithStud with no fee mode on ur losing about 10 h/s for myself or ( 10% ) speed so i recommend having the fee on to support him and have more speed :)
-
@HiDevin i never turned it off :) albeit you loose a bit more :) since it has to disconnect from your pool and afterwards connect back. There is a loss in difficulty set by pool in that time :) but still this i way better than anything else so i dont really care.
