@crowetic I think the reaction to your statements stems from your initial comment, which was perhaps a little heavy/accusatory in tone. It may have come across a little stronger/more offensive than you intended but I think it came across as more offensive than constructive, hence all the reactions. Let's all try to be civil here and stay calm...we're all part of the same community.
Indeed was quite an unpleasant and ridiculous accusation!
And yes I took offence because I worked hard on this project and already started to work on the new one, and I don't think that my work deserve such a treatment!
Not to mention that I have been invited to the kore meeting more than one time, and he had the opportunity to talk with me directly about that, rather than acting like this... VERY BAD!I didn't state anything directly saying you did something wrong... I pointed out a decline, and said that asset issuers doing this type of thing contributed, which I believe is a fact, and that your asset was also released during this same time.
I also said that BTC was going up and likely also had an effect.
I'm not criticizing your work by any means, merely the way you're acquiring the funding, and the lack of full explanation of how you intended to make it happen once acquired.
Also, I did PM you and invite you to talk in voice, but I got no reply to that. Only more negative responses based on something that was taken as a direct attack.
I do understand that fact that you have worked hard on this, regardless of my agreement with the methods.
This time though, you're looking for 10 times the amount you were the first time, and I simply don't think that BURST is really large enough yet to have this go off without having a negative effect on the price, which I've been working quite hard to move in the other direction, including placing quite a bit of buy support on the market.
-
@crowetic Please stop you know what you did!!!
I was at the meeting we talked, you could say, insted of acting like this now here!
Now if you what to apologize I'll accept and we will be ok!
Else you directly come to offend my job, and accusing me to damage the BURST community with it, so I'll keep being unhappy with you!
-
@vier23 @nox @haitch
Thank you for your comments.
That was quite unpleasant, I felt attacked directly and I reacted!
-
@ccminer @crowetic
I dont know how to do the @all here and have it work...This clearly is another important topic that is in need to be addressed and glad it is.
I have some personal thoughts on all the "BURST Mining Assets" launched, expressed them to a few people but not publicly so I will also be doing that in this post.I think it important for people no matter their credibility to be concerned how their assets would be viewed since it clearly does concern many people and their BURST investments and the price.
Considering how people could potentially view their projects and assets may alleviate many misunderstandings and frankly fears.
My personal opinion is that in taking into account ALL these numerous BURST assets and particularly the BURST mining assets is that they could be a reason for a part of the current IMO- "undervalued price of BURST". I admit I have no facts nor evidence of this but it could be the "Elephant in the Room".This Post was meant to be longer but dont have the time right not so am posting it as it is....
-
I wanted to keep it for the CCMINER1000 announcement, but I'm forced to say it now!
The new asset will have 2 buying systems.- with burst in the decentralized AE
- For whom will be unconfortable with it, I'll create a website where it will be possible to purchase asset units with BITCOIN
In any case I insist on the fact that trading, changing few hundreds of dollars per week (even a couple of thousands) doesn't mean DUMPING!
for DUMPING the price of an average 5 BTC daily volume coin I have to sell to the OPEN BUY ORDERS (I never did like that, I always placed selling orders and wait!!) at least 3/4 BTC per day!
-
I'm against the idea of selling assets in different currency other than Burst in the Burst exchange, we have currency exchanges for such operations. Building a miner out of selling shares is not a bad idea, especially to those mining in low capacity and not earning much from mining and ending up abandoning the network. Many of such were attracted to sell BTC for Burst just to get a hold on some assets like ccminer's and earn Burst which they couldn't earn in mining. Backing up an asset with tangible asset is not exactly a security measure for the investor, even with identity verification, I think cost of perusing the guy in an international law suite will not be feasible -not in time or in money- to anyone. However, many still invest and even in slow assets just to support the network.
For Market, I haven't seen better currency performance than it was even when other assets are being sold in BTC.
I do agree however that selling 33BTC -even in a day- would decrease the price, but in the longer run 1PB mining would benefit the network and its price much more.
Many members are marketing the currency and getting new members to Burst. I say keep marketing and support new assets to keep attracting comers to Burst community. Think of newer projects to be adopted in Burst to raise its price and sustain it.
But that's just me
-
@ccminer Have you consider this option https://forums.burst-team.us/topic/2928/hard-drives-26-tb-shipping-pre-plotted-available you could buy the drives from him using Burst, more drives but also faster read times. Just a though...
-
@rnahlawi
Actually I agree with you!
Selling the asset directly to BTC will prevent people to buy BURST, but I think as well from a business point of view that giving to the potential clients the freedom to choose what they prefere is better!
I'm here offering a service and I hope it will be succesful as the previous one, so if somebody is unconfortable with buying the asset with burst I'll offer the alternative!Said so, it is importat to point as well that the BURST are sold not for the joy to reduce the price, but for further investments that will benefit BURST as network! Each single BURST sold (not DUMPED!!!!!!!!) for BITCOIN and each single BITCOIN sold for EURO has been used to increment the investment in the BURST network/community!
Every one of us sells their burst for BITCOIN, because we need EURO or DOLLARS or whatever to purchase the goods and products we need! If I can earn good with burst I'll invest more of my time and capabilities in it, and I'm pretty sure it will benefit burst.
I don't think that the coins rised by the Feed a Developer asset will be not converted, but I don't see a problem with it!
-
@iKnow0 Thank you for your suggestion.
I have my supplier and I have my way, in this period no one complains and the asset was quite succesfull!
-
I think there is bigger fish to fry. I feel like some people have shown their true colors as of late. This is sad to see all this bickering over assets.
Some haters maybe since @ccminer has one of the best assets right now. Its all good player haters gonna hate.
I'll gladly dump my burst to buy your asset in BTC. lol
You can't control this beast. Or have your cake and eat it too. I'm thinking its time for a wild west burst forum... I'm sure there are people with other ideas that would be unpopular here. But perhaps profitable.
I for one think we need a wallet update urgently. If the network gets fucked watch how fast people dump...
-
@crutsy Don't worry bro, You will be able to buy with your dear old fashion BURST!!!!
I think that this forum is quite ok, just let the folks understand that we don't need any BURST JESUS here!!About the network glitches that we faced in the recent past (maybe the reason of the low price), you know, keep me upate ;)
-
I would like to say, I re-read my initial post, and it did come off a little harsher than I expected.
I have quite a bit going on right now and may have not put enough thought into what I was saying and how it would come off.
For that, I would like to apologize.
However, even after re-reading your OP, to make sure I didn't miss anything about the way the asset was to be sold, acquired, etc... I still don't see anything that would lead me to believe that you wouldn't sell the BURST immediately upon receiving it.
So once again with this, as it was with the last issue with assets, I believe there was quite a bit of misunderstanding going on.
If you had said specifically the way in which you planned to sell the coins, over a long period of time, etc... this entire situation could have been avoided. As long as the way things are being done, will have an overall positive influence, then I'm for it.
I get a bit personal with BURST, due to how much time and effort I've put into it, and the fact that I'm 100% dedicated and fully crypto-only as far as my income and the way I support my family and myself. There has been quite a bit going on lately that has kept me fairly over-stressed with far too much going on. So I do once again apologize if that came across in this thread.
I think these types of things can be avoided in the future, with the asset rating agency, and being very clear with exactly how you're going to be doing things, and being very clear on exactly how you're going to acquire the hardware, and how quickly it will be done.
So anyway, to the community, I see how my messages could have easily been seen as something they weren't meant to, so I'm sorry for that, there's just quite a bit going on that I allowed to influence my normal way of posting in situations.
I will not allow this to happen again, I will continue to be the calm and rational face of our amazing coin and community and keep my reputation as upstanding as possible. To anyone who saw things they didn't like out of me in this thread, and in particular my first two posts, I'm sorry.
Thanks.
-
@crowetic If you asked directly what you wanted to know I could simply reply to you, with no arguments.
Hovewer you apologize so I'm ok!
I apologize as well, but when somebody attack my work like that I get nervous.
I don't want to talk about my idea on WHY you did it and I really hope this post will be the final one of this unpleasant serie!Just last thing, BURST as BITCOIN is a DECENTRALIZED crypto currency! The idea behind it in the mind of SATOSHI was to create a trustless network to cut out the middle man. Burst as evolution of BITCOIN share this core concept!
We as community, can agree on somethig light to protect ourselfs, like @haitch id verifications and the guidline he wrote for the new asset issuer, but I think that everything that will lead to any sort of CENTRALIZATION should be avoided by default!

@ccminer @crowetic We are a community and i understand that some times just text cannot transmit well the way we want to say things, so basically i am glad all worked out well in the end guys...
Regarding to this Dump thing, i had a conversation with @ccminer some days ago, because i had the same worrieness that @crowetic have today, but after @ccminer tell me how he is doing the trading of the BURST i was more assured about how this is going to work, and than i told him that he had to explain people in the OP of the new release the same thing he explained to me about how he will trade the coins...
I'm pretty sure this new asset will be a sucess as the previous one was, and i am happy to help both of you ( @crowetic and @ccminer ) with what i can, as always, and as i do with everyone that have the humility to ask for help everytime?! ;D
BTW @ccminer thanks for the payout mate! xP

Hey Ladies and Gentlemen,
I am going to post this in new assets AND existing assets forum threads.
It is an idea @nameless proposed and hope all asset issuers that can, could consider this. There is a serious need to feed the Developers/the development of multiple BURST projects being worked on and soon to be announced. People might not be aware Crow had been paying for most the development costs either behind the scenes or heavily donating to crowd funds for them. It is not right for him to be the one counted on to fund the projects and there is about to be a massive amount of projects posted needing to be funded. Some of which have already been started. I am sure many others have also contributed heavily to the BURST Development and is very much appreciated by all I am sure.
Besides trying to encourage the BURST Community, specially those that have done very well to "give back" by generously contributing to these projects, I wanted to relay the idea @nameless mentioned awhile back...
Could ALL asset issuers consider a reasonable percentage be directed towards the main BURST development wallet soon to be posted. It is a Win/Win being whatever percentage you "sacrifice" will more than pay you back as the projects will undoubtedly add to the overall value of BURST, the growth of the Community and Public adoption.
Another option that ALL could consider is making wise use of the "Subscription Feature" in the wallet. This cool feature of the BURST wallet could be set to Automatically send a any amount of BURST you may never notice and set it to repeat at your request and can be removed at any time. It can be found under the "Transactions Tab" in the wallet right next to the "Escrow feature".MikeMike
