@jakev thanks for your response and information. As I had written, from the results as well what I was reading for feedback about the results of your first prediction market asset it appeared that it did not go as smoothly as planned (hence the phrase "rough start"). In regard to your comment though, I am honestly a little concerned about how cavalier you treated my question as a whole : No, I am certainly not claiming to know how to master things on the first go, then again I am not the one advertising myself as a crypto-expert with active involvement in the industry since 2011 and asking for funding for an asset. Main concern here was that you appeared to have gone silent after your last comment and my question (a space of 11 days) which in this "investment world" can create questionable impressions. I am glad you are "learning" and moving forward with your ideas and look forward to further updates!

Hi @AndrewDD I appreciate the feedback and apologize if my response did not seem to come from a good place. Did not mean to be "cavalier", but rather just trying to be honest in expressing that these are trials, and seriously am ALWAYS seeking to learn from someone who knows how to do something better than myself. The 11 days comment has also been noted, and I will start providing a weekly update from here on out.

@jakev over the past few month's there have been several scam's in the form of assest's that has left the community questioning new assest's or even older assests that go silent. regular updates will go along way

2 new prediction markets have been released today. They have a much shorter timeframe than the first plus a few other modifications. You can click here to check out the posts.
Both of the events will have payouts to the Alpha asset at the end of December :)

@JotaJota thanks for posting. I am actually working on a buyback structure right now. I unfortunately don't have the capacity to continue this asset at this point. Thought I would be more involved with it but other things have taken priority. All holders will be receiving 10% more BURST than they got in for. Just figuring out exactly how to make it happen.
Goal is to have everyone settled by New Years.

I think a ten percent gain is a fair return for anyone who got in especially in like a two month timespan. But on a personal end, yes agreed. I did not perform as well I would have liked to in an ideal situation. This is exactly why I'm closing it.

@jakev Did the ideas outside the prediction market not pan out, or was it the issues with the prediction process?
I had a lot of expectations for this asset, and am sorry to hear you have to shut it down.
The 10% Bonus is impressive though - and appreciated!

I know first hand what young @jakev is facing now with the other things that have taken priority. All i can say is that his talent is being milked better than a prime cow in the project he is working on right now.
The way you are parting with us for now should send a message to investors as well as asset issuers : you admitted you messed up, that you didn't manage this properly, and you are willing to take a personal loss at the benefit of the investors. I call that CHARACTER , and not only because i know Jake personally. This could have been any random guy issuing and buying back an asset. I think i proved that i give credits where they are due regardless if i know the person or not.

Okay so the people who got in at 60 BURST, there are currently 12,500 buy orders open at 66. Please cover these orders and then I will move up to the 70s.
Can't release 70s until all 60s are filled.

@jakev Rather than staggering them, why not release at the same average price? The people that are last to sell get the best return ?

@haitch the average would put it around 79 but the people who bought in at 80 or 90 would not be getting the amount they deserve.

@jakev I've got 10,000 assets - why would I sell now (we'll ignore that I just sold some to fill your first sell order) I'll wait for the best price. If every holder does that, then the price never changes. And we all wait for the best possible price.
Calculate the appropriate average price and offer to buy them all. Assets are a gamble, sometimes they work out great, sometimes they crash and burn. But you can't selectively repay people - although it it is awesome that you are repaying, but just go for average value. Some will make a profit, I'll make a loss, but it's really only the only effective way to do it.

There were only a few buyers at the lower levels so I just wanted to see if people would be honest. Just giving anyone who bought in low the opportunity to be most fair about it. If not (which is obviously completely understandable), I will move up to the average under 24hrs.
