Growing pains usually, small netwotk bugs that get ironed out as we go along.

I know we have various discussions on timing differences and anomalies in Pool reported times that look like a different Pool should have won a block when times are close and Haitch has said the Blockchain decides. Which is fine but look at the screenshots showing this last Fork.
On the left is burst-team.us which does not fork, on the right ninja showing those classic signs of a fork, but.....
Pools are in sync up to Block 293814 won in 2 Min 53 secs
The next Block 293815 is shown as win by M_V_M in 5 Min 16 Sec however ninja has Garbear with 1 Min 53 Secs. A big difference in ninja's favour. So I am sure there is an explanation not obvious from the available data, but it would be great to know what it is?

im not sure how they figure out what forked and what did not , but on a fork at some point it registers that the size of the network has changed and lowers the difficulty witch will result in the network showing some crazy deadlines.

@RichBC, when a pool has forked, no matter if the winner on the pool won, it did so on a forked chain, so all the other wallets agreed to the winner that was on the good chain.

@Focus Thanks for kicking the tires and getting her turnin' again but it looks like payouts aren't happening. Can you kick the bankman and get him spittin' out that wonderful BURST again? Always a fan of the people running/dev'ing/mod'ing the burst scene, so thanks for all ya do!

It should be resolved in moments.

@RichBC I had a miner yesterday with a 4 sec dl that turned into a ghost block. The person who won had 47 sec! I use ntp time and was watching console at the time.

@tross I have to confess that I do not understand the Forking that we see, how this happens or what could be done about it... We are completely in the hands of the Dev's.

There is a new pool software in the development which will address all these issues, multiple fork detection and correction, etc...
