@haitch do regular users of this forum have any benefits in being verified or is this just really for asset makers and sales people?

@darindarin As far as I know there is no benefit for the just average phorum user to get verified. Also note that haitch (full respect here Im stunned by the work you do, your day got 96 hours or what?) is charching a Little bit for this Service and rightly so, read about 5000 Burst, shipping costs and all that.
Its a cheap Service helping the community as haitch as far as I understand it so far is one of the (if not the) most trusted member/founder of the community.
Still, imo I can see few to null benefit to pay $ 75 or the likes just to be a verified Forum poster if no Asset or other Business Background is involved.

@Marc The cost is now 1,000 - I need to update the OP.
The benefit of being verified is for those issuing assets or doing off chain transactions - it means you're a real person and I know where they are. If JoeB does a deal with you for Burst on Paypal, but then screws you in the deal - you prove it to me, I'll tell you that JoeB is actually Joe Bloggs, and this is his home address if you want to contact him or start legal action.
For regular miners not looking at off chain trading or asset issuing, there is no benefit.

@haitch Thats what I said basically to help darindarin with his question. (Got that 5K from Memory but info obviously outdated). For 1K your selling your Service/time too cheap, guess its just another way of donating to the community your Kind :-)
To Close that question and get the numbers right afaik currently there is 8 People who got fully verified by you so far (for assets) plus the 2 coming in lately for whatever reasons. Numbers may vary, but think thats not that far off.

@Marc It's a lot more than 8 - I need to get the verified page updated, but the server is currently shutdown as it was being used as an attack vector. Got to love the assholes requesting to download a 3GB file 5 times per second .....
