Burst price of the Month - Nov/16

@ccminer well yea, but still i am getting out of this way more than any other coin. Once it dies out i probably gonna go back to monero :)
-
@LithStud what about BURST ;)
-
@ccminer still waiting on my 4TB drive :) but for burst i have other plans that are not mainly mining :) Not to mention burst is always on together with whatever other coin or two i mine :)
-
@LithStud
I'm curious about your plans if I may
-
5 btc volume today, uh oh
-
@rapidfireman Yeah. That's not good. Even Qora has more volume than Burst. Something strange is happening here.
-
That's weird. No one is buying, but no one is selling either O.o And we never had so many people mining the coin. I can see my point: I've spent all my BTC in Burst, so, I can't buy anymore lol
-
@JotaJota I see 10BTC volume in the last 24 hours o.O
-
@gpedro at poloniex, 8BTC volume. More than half of Qora and DGB for example. Something is strange over here.
-
@JotaJota Well I guess it is because of the recent problems with the network, pools gliches, pools offline. Even now that I'm writing it's 20 minutes since last block 292639 and counting.
All of these issues that looks like are never solved once and for all, but constantly comes back again and again, at least I've read some posts here and some folks complained about that.
So I think that the price dump and the low trade volumes are explained by this.... :(
-
@ccminer oh man... :( @crowetic @luxe please can you tell us anything to keep us with very extusiasm in burst :) i believe this coin gone value 1€ in a year minimum :) who believe in that too????
-
@burstcoinPT I just reported what I've read lurking around here.
I don't know if I'm right and the low price and volumes are due because of it.
-
@ccminer said in Burst price of the Month - Nov/16:

There have been problems with Forking, however this 21 Minute block was not a problem. Target Block Time is 4 Minutes, however you will see blocks from 0 seconds to even an Hour.

@ccminer @burstcoinPT We are quiet because we are working in the mean time. If we post here all the time there is not much time for coding. Pool software is developed by two people at the moment. One entirely new pool code from scratch by @callmejack and @Lexicon is improving the uray code. In my opinion the pool software causes most of the issues at the moment.
From my point of view new software releases and new features won't change the price at all. We'll release when it's ready, not when market demands more volume and a rising price.
-
@daWallet people can be impatient. its understandable. a lot of people seem to think along the lines that when a release happens something else happens in the market but this isn't really the case in most circumstances. i'm doubting that when i release this code that burst will soar to the moon. if it does it would be nice however usually it requires better news or a big rumor for something like that to happen.
in regards to the network going offline. since i moved to this new VPS i haven't had a single problem. i had a huge issue where the wallet would keep stopping every 5k blocks on my last one. along with various other problems. i found out about a day after that the vps was load balanced. and the wallet doesnt seem to like load balanced servers much.
when all pools went offline the other weekend it turned out that the only one online was conveniently enough using my code lol. i have a feeling this was just coincidence though
-
So meaning the issue is with a ninja type code rather than a Uray-type code. How will all this be integrated or is it just a wallet issue. If just a Wallet issue again why does ninja type code break the wallet more often than Uray-type code.

After what we saw in september and october, I find the fall in both price and volume since october 25th quite disappointing ! Do you guys think we'll go back to an uptrend anytime soon ?
-
This time of year is always volatile with bitcoin. As it moves around people are less likely to trade altcoins. After the new year I'm sure things will change.
Also most people here in America hold onto their money pretty tight around election time.
-
@Gadrah_ I'm very upset about it too. But all alts came down. The only thing that is strange its the low volume. I'm buying always that I can. Yesterday I've bought 0.1 at 88 sats.
-
@JotaJota I would love to buy at these low prices but I have no more bitcoin haha
