N.E.W.S. Pool is now Live! (NEWS Asset Mining Pool Project)

Hi NEWS Miners!

We have forged 60,000 Burst worth of blocks for this period. This has given our pool an earning of more or less 600 Burst since we have a 1% fee. Thus, I have sent to you all the 60% of those fees, it doesn't matter if you're a shareholder of NEWS Asset or not, all miners are equal in my eyes :D. Not much, but a 360 Burst bonus was sent to all of the miners.

Hope next week, we'll mine more and get more bonuses at the payout period, which is happening every 6:00 PM EST.

NOTE: The NEWS Shareholder's 30% of the pool fees has been distributed along with the dividend payouts for this week.

@jervis i planed one drive but since there were delays in supply chain almost month has passed and i thing i will be able to buy two now :D 140 EUR is a bit much but expecting some bonus from my work :) Current date is set to 11.23 i hoooooooope it wont get delayed more.

I am having some issues with the miners and I appreciate any help.
First, when I try to run Burst Client for Win v0.03.06 and try to mine pool.news-asset.com pool, they send me to SoCalGuy Pool BURST-PHJ5-JMZP-3EQQ-EAA2B. I don't know if I am doing something wrong.
And second, when I try to the jminer the message "Unable to get mining info from wallet: / by zero" come out.
I never have this issues before, any ideas?

@brancarlo well for one you need to change reward recipient to whatever pool your mining at

@brancarlo seems the ports are messed up - I host both and they both go to the same IP - but different ports.

@LithStud I already change it to N.E.W.S Pool days ago. I was mining the N.E.W.S. pool and today everything stops working. If you see the picture the pool wallet ending on 7BH4C (N.E.W.S. pool) is already set. I don't understand why is sending me to another pool. I am trying to re-install my wallet.

@brancarlo 7Bh4C is the news Asset pool - don't know why it's sending to the wrong one. Same IP, different ports.

standalone miner (in my case blagos) works fine. Maybe something got srewy in wallets miners configs?

@LithStud it's possible - I have a headache from keeping straight different ports for different hosts, the News Pool vs. the NewSense pool ..... errors happen - we find them.

@brancarlo hey bud, have you tried changing the ports in the config file as 7080? it usually works that way. Please check it out. :)

@jervis I am continuing having the same issue with the jminer and the Burst Client for Win Start mining option. But, thank you for reminding me to use the miner-v1.160705. The miner is working but I need to do some fixing first, I believe I'll be good to go for now, until I found the issue with the jminer. Thank you, bud!

@brancarlo if you can use dedicated tools best to use them :) at least thats my opinion :D
