[ANN] BurstOcean - Sailing Wealthy! - Multiple Income Streams - BURST Price Booster

@chrispop the asset is paying weekly?

Yes, @JotaJota! We are paying weekly, every Monday.

@qibucks I haven't done the calculations yet but around that number I think. However we still have to install the third GPU which will be probably installed tomorrow. Also now are hard times for GPU mining as we need to pay even 75% of the production on electricity fees, but I hope better times will come.

I hate to say it, but I think GPU mining will get even harder soon. Both EXP and ETH are looking to go POS or some variant soon and if either or both of them go, it will put too much pressure on the other POW GPU coins since a lot of miners are just a parasite on coins to make money (myself included) and the profitability will go even lower. The good news is that then cheap hardware will flood the market and it will be easy to build a good rig and just be patient, as POW GPU mining will likely come around again at some point. Just think the Litecoin and ETH ups and downs, the people who held onto their Litecoin rigs instead of panic selling to by ASICs with everyone else made bank with ETH.

Or I could be totally wrong and ZEC and XMR will be large/worth enough to take all the GPU miners from ETH and EXP whenever they go POS. That's half the fun of crypto; the uncertainty.

  • @TimboSlice You have a point there Timbo. You said that we could get cheap gpu miners some of the famous POW coins convert to POS,but I disagree. The GPUs are not made especially for mining cryptos, they are mostly for gamers and for those who need hardcore graphics power like in architecture,music,etc... So the GPUs are not likely to drop in price.

Also if all the ETH miners or other cryptos miners will move to ZEC and XMR it is likely that the price of them will increase because as you said most miners mine for a profit so if there is no profit or they end up in minus they will drop out mining.
Anyway as a "life jacket" I can sell the asset gpus and invest in burst miners or something else so there is nothing to worry about.

That's true but I think at this point there are so many GPUs dedicated solely to mining that there will be a selloff at some point and the demand for "normal" usages won't be enough. Like how the RX 480 reference cards sold out in like a week even though AMD knew the miners were coming for them and produced a lot of them. Not to mention all the mining motherboards, cheap CPUs and giant PSUs, that could hit the market
So many miners that just sell will put a lot of downward pressure on the price of any coin, even if the rate of emission stays the same no matter how many people are mining it, since there will be more people mining just to sell. And then if they drop out mining, what will they do? Likely try to sell rigs, especially if they haven't hit ROI yet. Hence the cheap hardware theory :)

I know it's kind of all gloom and doom, but I'm not trying to FUD or anything, especially on the asset, just like to stay realistic that at some point GPU mining may no longer be feasible. I invested knowing full well what a big part of the revenue stream was at the moment and the current state of GPU mining, and am currently very pleased with the asset performance so far.

  • @chrispop Thank you for everything and I will continue to buy and hold for lifetime of asset..

  • BurstOcean IMPORTANT NEWS

I'm happy to make the following announcements:

    A) The 3rd GPU miners has been set up and it is now running smoothly! Here you can check out the hashrate of our miners live: https://zec.nanopool.org/account/t1YxMrtamiwSUx8HgGZx8ppYEWfstvhTuBJ

Also as I promised here is a new picture of the BurstOcean GPU mining rig:

    0_1484340355885_photo_2017-01-13_22-45-19.jpg

    B) From now on you can purchase BurstOcean shares with BITCOINS! This is a much better option to purchase our asset as it is more healthy for the burst price and community. Until now obviously we have converted the BURST we received from asset sales to BTC and that affects the price of burst a bit. That's why I encourage BurstOcean shareholders and new investors to make their "shopping" with bitcoin if that is possible.

    alt text

Of course that bitcoin orders will have to be made off the market so you will have to contact me if you are willing to make purchases with bitcoins. You can do that by the following means:

    • DM here on burst forums.
    • Discord: @chrispop (you can find me on the adsactly channel)
    • Post on this thread and I will get back to you through DM here on forums.

ATTENTION! The minimum bitcoin buying limit is 100 BurstOcean shares!
The price will be calculated at the respective time burst/btc rate from Poloniex.

    Promotional Campaign

We're offering a 10% discount to people who purchase BurstOcean with BTC until the February 1st!

  • @chrispop WOW awesome and love the pic..count the BURST BAG LADY in to do her shopping! You know us ladies love our discounts lol.. nite nite..

  • @chrispop: hi, as a investor in your asset i am glad to see you mining zcash as the most proftable coin atm. You can check the profitability very exactly at this site: https://whattomine.com

Which miner do you use? From time to time i am mining a bit with my Nvidia GTX 1060 and EWBF´s Cuda miner. Its relatively constant at 270 sol/s. Best experience for mining zcash i made at flypool https://zcash.flypool.org

  • @nettrip I am mining with 3x 470x series amd radeon GPUs. I am happy with the pool I am mining on at the moment so I will stay here, but thanks for the advice!

Also the advertising campaign is doing a great job as we now have 111 asset holders! Only the best assets in the market have more than 100 holders so I want to thank all you again for trusting me and BurstOcean!

We are rapidly approaching to purchasing our 4th GPU miner so keep purchasing, guys and gals!
