GPU not seen by gpuPlotter

@iKnow0 Does gpuplotgenerator list your devices? If not - you probably have a driver issue
-
@haitch the RX 480 is not listed either if i run jminer
-
@iKnow0 My 470's are. Your 480's should be - unless you need new driver
-
@haitch would it matter that the RX-480 is not connected to a display? Have all the latest drivers.
-
What does your device manager list for display adapters and driver versions?
-
@Focus Driver date : 25/10/2016 , Driver version: 21.19.155.257
-
@iKnow0 I am using 21.19.137.1 and my R9 280X are showing up. If you like I can teamview in to you computer and help.
-
@Focus ok fixed it. I ran GPU-Z and it crashed the PC. I then removed the other VGA card used for display and replaced it with another. GPU-Z then ran fine and so did the gpuplotter. Thanks all.
-
@iKnow0 Good thing you were able to fix it! So the culprit was the graphics card that was connected to the display, you think? What kind of card was that, and what is your replacement card that is now tied to the display?
-
@Propagandalf It's a really old nvidia PCI vga, so old windows 7 did not have a driver for it. It was using the window standard vga driver which i think was the culprit. the replacement is a amd pcie hd 7700.
