Trying to GPU plot

@kendrew said in Trying to GPU plot:
Unable to create the OpenCL GPU buffer
From
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=731923.8090;wapErrorr (-61 = CL_INVALID_BUFFER_SIZE), it is due to a lack of memory space in your GPU. Try with a lower stagger size.
Note: the number of nonces must be a multiple of the stagger size

@kendrew can you also post the command line that you are using with gpuPlotGenerator. How many GPU cards have you installed?
-
@kendrew your devices.txt should contain something like the following
0 0 12288 192 8192
-
@kendrew in the folder where gpuPlotGenerator is located there is a text file "devices.txt" open it with notepad
-
for devices.txt these are safe settings for most of cards i think
i specifically adjusted it for my R9 270x 2GB card
0 0 1792 128 4096depending on how much RAM your card has you can change 4096 number
-
1 0 16192 128 8192
-
@kendrew and the command line you are using? gpuplotgenerator (account)(starting nonce)(number of nonces)_(stagger size)??
-
Hope you were able to fix your issue :)

@kendrew change the last number (20000) to 10000, if that does not work change it to 5000

@kendrew in your devices.txt change the 3rd number reduce it, gradually save your change and then try it again
-
@iKnow0 same problem here even if I put everythin close to 0 the result is the same!
I have r9 380 4gb on ubuntu
-
@ccminer Kendrew got his working, post your devices.txt and the gpuPlotGenerator command line
-
@iKnow0 thank you I lowered a lot and I got another error
[ERROR][-11][CL_BUILD_PROGRAM_FAILURE] Unable to build the OpenCL program AMDGPUMCInstLower::lower - Pseudo instruction doesn't have a target-specific version: 174
-
@ccminer try these values 0 0 12288 192 8192
-
@ccminer what where the suggested default values?
-
@iKnow0
with these values I don't see the error -61 anymore but the -11 has I wrote above0 0 1010 128 8192
-
@ccminer try 0 0 512 128 8192
