pools not working? Whats up is it a server issue?

This seems to happen a lot, maybe something to do with the ports? I'm no expert..

So maybe your pool get more than 51% mining power of the network for a certain time...
So secure and decentralised network :/Sad.

@chrisagreat Ninja is downloading a new wallet - the overnight issue corrupted the DB on Ninja, had to resync from scratch. It's almost caught up and the pool should be back online soon.

@haitch Thanks, you are always so timely with a status report when i shoot a distress flare up :D
Is it alright to shout out to you / crowetic when the pool is down or is there a more proper way/different person for me to report?

@chrisagreat I check the pools as often as I can. If there are pool problems, email me at haitch@burst-team.us - I don't check it obsessively, but I'll see any messages - unless I'm asleep, even I sleep from time to time.
Also, if you put the word "Pool" in the subject, I've set up a rule to automatically forward the message to my day to day mail, and also text message the subject to me - so make the subject useful, and with the word "pool" in it.

Don't worry, when this is fixed I'll push a bonus payout to everyone.

pools back up, preventative measures being taken to make sure these kinds of things can be resolved faster in the future, overall fixes being pushed as well.
