as antivirus I use Comodo, but to remove rootkit it wants paid version instead of free version blahh.

id add trend micro's house call to the list with AVG and MalwareBytes have used all in the past.

@moonjeina safest option if you are a paranoid like me :-) , reinstall your OS on a clean drive then change all your passwords. Then copy back your documents from the old one after they have been scanned by your security software. Also scan any USB sticks you were using. Its better to be safe than sorry.

@iKnow0 isn't rootkit that thing that keeps infections even after deleting the entire operating system?

@daWallet Yep. If you want to really wipe any possible infection: Run diskpart as administrator, do "select disk 0" then "clean all" - it will completely wipe every attached drive on the system.

how long does it take? with 60TB attached:-0 noooo!
