Zcash Mining

any of you guys in on the zcash craze? my gtx 980 is mining about 21.75 sols. Can anyone explain what sols are? Or have a website with this information?

Sols are zcash hashrate. Thats what i think.

What miner are you using? I am using ZcashGPUClient.

that zcash craze would made me some sweet $ but afcourse as is usual the pool i used (suprnova) decided to crash :(

Other than that i mine with just cpu :) 3 cores giving me 11sols :)

@vile Definitely in on it at the moment, have all my miners running it, combined currently doing 360 Sols/S (whatever a Sol is ..... )

if you're using a GTX 980 you've probably got a niceish CPU as well!?
with "nheqminer" on http://zcash.flypool.org/ or https://www2.coinmine.pl/zec/index.php you can use both!
start it with

nheqminer -cd 0 -t 6 -u <user.worker> -p <password>

on coinmine
or:

nheqminer.exe -cd 0 -t 6 -l eu1-zcash -u <your zcash "t" adress (polo).workername>

as an example. This is using the First CUDA capable Graphics Card [-cd 0] and 6 Threads on your (i7?) CPU [-t 6].

I get 42Sol/sec from a GTX 970 and an i7something. slightly overclocked but not overvolted.

dont use more then 6 threads on your CPU! not worth it!

use as many cores as you have!) I'm talking gamerig here.... and i7

and of course use usa if you are there!

flypool has been running stable since last night so i'm quite pleased with it

@HiDevin I have it running on my VMWare cluster - 88 of 96 Cores in use over 4 VMs.
