Forum, Faucet and Burstcoin.Biz advertising auction.
-
As previously stated, we're opening up the sidebar and the footer on the forums and the main banner on burstcoin.biz as advertising space for members.
We're going to offer/sell YOU the opportunity to advertise on the forums and on burstcoin.biz which has over thousand of unique visitors a day.
The footer/sidebar space on every page is going to be open to anyone that wants to advertise their asset, their crowd fund, some third party service (We reserve the right to vet the third party ad's - nothing inappropriate please.)
Currently we're getting over 8000 unique visitors a week on the forums and over 1000 unique visitors daily on burstcoin.biz (February 2017).
The options are for the footer, a full width leaderboard Ad - 728 * 90 pixels, or the sidebar 160 * 600 pixels.
For burstcoin.biz it's a full width leaderboard Ad 728 * 90 pixels. It is going to be an weekly auction - you get to bid on what you think that advertising space is worth.
Minimum bid is 1000 Burst for each space. Higher bids have to be at least 1000 Burst, too.
Its going to be an open auction - so reply here with how many Burst you wish to pay for a week long ad campaign. Both the footer and the sidebar are available, so in your post specify which position you want, and what you're bidding.[Bids close at always Sunday night Central European Time] .
Highest bid at that time gets the space. Good luck and happy bidding.
ALL revenue from the Ad sales will be going directly to the BurstIze asset.

Nice I'll keep it in my mind.
thank yhou for this opportunity

Sometimes when I click in something here on forum opens a new part directing to an ad site. Is this normal?
-
@JotaJota We've tried out some other ad networks and it seems we have forgot some ad code. We hate pop ups, too.
About the auction: Your banners will be even shown to the guests and users with ad block plugins!
-
@daWallet Ah, got it. I'll say please, take this off rsrsrsrs
-
@JotaJota The code for one of the ad sites was in the footer, but it didn't appear to be working, so I never got around to removing it. However it seems it was randomly creating pop-ups - I never got one, but I know others did. The code has now been purged, no more pop-ups.

To put a little perspective on the auction and rates - Google was paying around 10,000 Burst/Day for the ads on the forums. :-)

wow 10,000 per day? Okay, I want to bid 70,000 for the side ad for two weeks (14 days) then :)
-
And @jervis takes the leading bid for the prime top sidebar position .... who's going to knock him off that perch ? :-)
-
@haitch Actually Google has paid nothing at all. An auction is an auction :P
Highest bidder for the tower ad: jervis!
-
@daWallet Well, in the partial month I did get paid for, and the partial month they stole - it was averaging 10K/day.

Another perspective also could be how much Amazon was paying? Because I'm pretty sure it was a lot less than 10k/day, a lot less!
I think that @daWallet is right, an auction is an auction and @jervis is killing it right now haha :D
When Burst Casino is ready I will probably bid if the price is not too high when I get there ^_^Good luck guys! You deserve the support for maintaining this amazing forum.

@Zeus Amazon and Google have different models - Google pays per view/per click - Amazon pays a percentage of what is purchased via the link. We've had almost 700 clicks on the Amazon links, but just two shipped orders - so earnings have not been good. With fewer clicks, Google paid better.
We're hoping that the community will want to advertise to the community - any ad is looking at about 250,000 views/week.
-
@haitch yes I know ^_^
Can I advertise any kind of site?
The bid is for what length? A week? Two weeks?
-
It's not that I have really a great site to advertise. First and foremost, I want to support this forum :) Advertising the asset I manage will be a side effect of it :)
-
@Zeus Two weeks - you can advertise anything I'm okay with.
