@Zeus Amazon and Google have different models - Google pays per view/per click - Amazon pays a percentage of what is purchased via the link. We've had almost 700 clicks on the Amazon links, but just two shipped orders - so earnings have not been good. With fewer clicks, Google paid better.
We're hoping that the community will want to advertise to the community - any ad is looking at about 250,000 views/week.

It's not that I have really a great site to advertise. First and foremost, I want to support this forum :) Advertising the asset I manage will be a side effect of it :)

That happens to me always on my phone, a big ad takes the screen and even when I click cancel it redirects me to another site, then I have to go back and when I do I cannot scroll, I need to do a refresh and after all that, everything works fine. :-/

@jervis Two weeks of advertising your asset - at least 400,000 page impressions - 400,000 times people see your Asset, in an approved forum slot. No dubious/scam sites/assets will be approved, so anything advertised will have been approved by me, and under advice from the rest of the admins.

Folks, Google was paying us 10,000 Burst/Day to advertise on this site. 10,000. per. day. I've double checked the auction rules, and I don't see anything preventing me bidding on the auction - so I'll put up 70,000 for the side bar for two weeks.
Now, who's available to hire for advert design ?

@jervis - ooops - my bad, I need to review the todate bids better before I try and out bid .......
I change my bid to 70K for the footer then.
