Mining Lag, Hashrate Drop
-
@LithStud NiceHash is where you Buy Hash to point at a Coin or Sell hash to be sent in from your miner. Then people bid on your hash as a pooled resource
-
I think it's your GPUs drivers freaking out. But im not so sure :)
-
Any idea how to fix it @jervis the problem is still happening unfortunately.
-
I think the lag is what is causing the low hash rates, it only happens when I start the miner, never had lag issues before with it.
-
@vile I also mine with Nicehash. Are you on the same coin as you were mining before? Dagger-Hashimoto I presume? Different coins stress your GPU differently - Coin X might be fine, Coin Y can make your system as laggy as hell.
-
Nicehash almost always has me mining lyra2rev2 which never lagged me down like it does or produced such low mh's. I was at a constant 28 mh, now only 4+, don't know what happened. It's the same coin as I usually always mined. @haitch

@vile The machine I'm on is doing Lyra2rev2 as well - and no lag. Latest drivers ?
-
Yes, latest driver, as stated above I never had this problem until trying to learn to mine with a couple other miners, with other coins. I hope I didn't mess up my GPU somehow. After benchmarking before it worked normally for a little while, but once I restarted the program I was back to lag, and low hashrates.

@haitch ^
-
I can CPU mine fine, no lag at all. So I think something is up with my GPU. :(
-
No lag when gaming though, graphics seem fine.
-
I found the issue the miner had me set to mine lyra2re in the benchmarks it was set to earn 33btc per day somehow, some sort of glitch, I unticked it in the benchmarks, and all is well. :)

So in the end i was right :D
