@Njcfamily31907 I wish I could afford to do that :( I just made a thread in General Discussion if you might know the answer to it that would be swell.

-
you're welcome
-
@Njcfamily31907 thks bro....really nice payout...!
-
OP Updated with Shares Sold and total Divs Paid
Also updated Status of Second 3tb drive that has failed
-
the G6 Server has been delivered will post some pics when i get it up and running
-
the second pic is with the directional airflow cover removed to show more of the board
anyone need PCIe Multi port Nic Cards???? ( all the cards on the right side of the image are nic cards 6 of them )
-
ok all This new server is not what i expected it to be ( thankfully i got the server Cheap ( really cheap ) the only real cost was the shipping because of the weight ) but due to this error i will cover the cost of the shipping out of my own pocket and i will be cannibalizing the g6 server to beef up the supermicro server
the G6 server is setup to accept 2.5 inch sas SFF drives and not the 3.5 inch LFF drives like i thought it was yes i could use the onboard sata to use plotted drives but that limits me and i would have to start buying the drive cages and i feel the parts from the G6 would be better used to boost the supermicro server
Thanks all
Nick
-
Well the main part i was gonna pull from the G6 server was the ram and it is not compatible with the supermicro server :-(
I have brought the server up and about to put it online I am trying to figure out what to do with it now
Any Suggestions???
-
@Njcfamily31907 That's one barebone Unit! How much did you get this for? If, you don't mind me asking for?
Thanks,
CesBurst1782
-
lets just say I paid about the same as it would cost 2 people to eat at Applebee's ( but that dont include the cost of shipping ) HOLY CRAP this thing is heavy as hell and shipping was not cheap
-
First Replacement 3tb drive just arrived I am attaching it now and starting to plot it
-
Pool server migrated from @Haitch 's server to the G6 server and now up and running to be more Decentralized from the other pools
-
Maybe I missed it in some other post but what make and model are these drives that are failing?
-
Updated OP with Updated asset statuses
-
@Burstde one was a WDC WD30EFRX 3tb Nasware 3.0 drive and the other was a 3tb Toshiba drive that came out of a 3tb external drive that i converted over to a internal drive and i thought the external controller was failing so that is why i removed it from the enclosure, but it turned out to be the drive
-
Just wanted to give everyone an Update Yes i have recv'd the 1st Drive back from RMA and it is now plotted and running in the Server
I also am picking up Extra drives from Newegg to increase the Plots of the Asset by Approx 15tb
there was a problem with the order ( someone hacked my newegg credit line and tried to order stuff to africa and paris but was stopped until it is investigated my credit line is unavailable to me so i will be buying these with my debit card come Black friday
and i am working on getting more drives and even a few PSU's to power the drives if i have to
-
Any updates on the timing of the next payout?
