@JotaJota the share price reflects the value of the fund. as the fund grows, so does the share price.
people buy shares for value. their share price rises, they earn when selling. this is a long term holding asset, as well as great for speculation :)
-
Maybe I'm a bit dumb, but I don't get it. If not pay dividends, why buy? Maybe the value will increase, but why people are going to buy the asset? I just don't get it man.
because it's a retirement plan asset bud. People loves to get a retirement plan. But, we are all hopefuls here I know. But 20 years of unstability?
@nameless In the grand scheme of things that we can't control and burst and all crypto crashes in 19 years from now, what will you do to our funds? Because as you said, this is forex and other things outsides of crypto world. How are you gonna assure and distribute the payments?
-
I agree there needs to be more information. Forgive me ignorance but how is this different than passing the buck or a pyramid scheme ?
Where do the burst go for the original asset buy?
Such a long term asset what happens is something were to happen to the owner?
-
@nameless I still don't get it, but ok, I'll continue investing in Newsilver and 500k that I've already bought ;D Good luck with your asset man!

Wow, very good question. If all crypto crashes , which is very unlikely, we'll just have to figure out a way to redeem those shares for real cash maybe :)
But that's an issue all assets face, not just this one...

Yes, but 20 years without dividends and only wait for you to liquidate is not 99.99% of what assets do. It's screaming of centralization and overcontrl. :)
-
With 100,000,000 assets how do you plan to release them?
Stages and at what values?
I can't sell them if you keep a cheap sell wall
-
@crutsy there are measures taken in case i get run over by a car :) . Fund will be liquidated by someone else and all shares will be bought back.
As far as the pyramid scheme analogy...ouch . All shares sales money goes straight into the fund . Don't all assets do that? Sell shares and alocate capital?
-
oh and @crutsy it's not going to be a cheap sell wall :)
It starts cheap and gets VERY expensive over time.
-

Fair point, but as more capital is raised, capital allocation will be delegated as well, meaning that i will have people managing parts of the fund, so not all of it will be in my hands
-
@nameless Please understand I was not trying to be offensive I simply just don't understand. If the next person is buying it for more and more eventually it will be worth so much won't the buying slow down and maybe even stop?
-
so lets take an example
Sam bought 1 share for 100 bursts today
Sam retires after 30 days (he won a lottery)
Sam sell 1 share for 100+X bursts (he still wants this money because he is greedy)How can one determine the X value?
-
@crutsy in no way i took it as an offense. your questions were good.
The way i will be releasing the shares and the price increase is actually very carefully planned. If buying from me stops (which should happen a lot of times) , then sales between holders commences :)
-
@samreader1 fund value / number of outstanding shares
-
Can you please explain the asset transfer before the sale?
3,205 to BURST-V7NH-VG69-BZD3-3S2V7
-
@crutsy yes i can :)
and more will come. One thing i forgot to mention, and thanks for reminding me about that, is the fact that this asset was initially meant to be a HZ exclusive asset.
@crowetic was going to make a burst asset dedicated to buying into the HZ shares.
BUT , as things unfolded very fast, and i mean VERY fast and my asset attracted way more eyes on it then i expected, and a few more issues that i debated wit @crowetic and @adsactly , we came to the conclusion that issuing it on HZ was a mistake and that BURST is the proper way to go. So all the transfers you will see in the following days will be redemptions - HZ shares for BURST shares.
We have people from HZ and OK that are migrating over to BURST just because of this asset alone :)
-
Shares sale starts in 11 mins :)
-
And they have begun. They will show up next block.
-
@nameless biting my nails o see the initial price man!
-
@gpedro surprisingly low :)
